Lovely few days

Beautifully place and perfect for disconnecting - adults only/no children. Rooms are wonderful (suggest to get one near the front the avoid the mosquitoes in the rooms numbered 20s/30s). Everything is done over WhatsApp (even the main number on the website which I think they should say on their website - if you try to call using regular phone you cannot connect) and reliant on signal/wifi working, which is to be expected given its location. The staff that you do see (bar & restaurant) are lovely and helpful. Transfer from the airport (for me) was over two hours from Chetumal which I am told is unusual - despite pre-booking a transfer with the concierge I had to get another car. The morning yoga was lovely, including choice of different styles including yin, vinyasa etc. Looks just like the website photos too.

Glamping at its finest 👌

Our Waterview Cabin was amazing. Nestled deep into the forest and overlooking the lagoon gave us the opportunity to not only see amazing sunrise and sunsets but allowed us to begin our journey to find a way to disconnect, rest, and relax. Outside secluded shower experience was a first for us and have to say we enjoyed it very much. Staff were very helpful and accommodating during our stay. They helped us arrange an unforgettable sailing trip that took us all around the lagoon and witness the seven shades of blue it is known for. Restaurant and food were excellent options after full day of activities. Another place we will definitely come back to.

Amazing experience

Absolutely incredible hotel, staff and experience. I was welcome with a guided mezcal tasting experience followed but amazing food and drinks. The rooms were very comfortable and private feeling. Incredible energy all around with even more friendly staff

This place apparently has no real management

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Worst experience I’ve had recently. Our reservation was “not registered in the system” and we were kept an hour waiting for the manager to give us a solution. The food is not good, and has little options. The worst thing of all is I’ve been waiting for my invoice for almost a month ! Have been writing to the managers email and WhatsApp and nothing … truly disappointing

Highly Recommended

Hábitas was a great experience, not just because of the place but also because of the service provided by the staff. I would like to mention that Ros, Camal, and Jaer, in particular, offered spectacular service, and without a doubt, I would return. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with just the right amount of space. The access to the lagoon is perfect, and they offer many incredible activities, such as yoga classes, the 'cinema' experience, the temazcal (a must with Claudia and Aaron), and the best of all, watching the sunrise on a paddle board with Gladys (she's the best). Areas that could be improved: - Dinners are not their strong point; breakfast is much better. - One day the room was not cleaned, but it was nothing serious. - We tried to get coffee for the sunrise, and they left it outside the restaurant for the next day (big win), but I think they could include a coffee maker in the room or have one outside the restaurant for any time of the day. Incredible experience, highly recommended.
