Its my first time at this beautiful hotel,I saw a couples review about Carlos at the Lobby bar and I confirmed that, what a nice person and professional Bartender, in general Grand Beach is an excellent place to vacation, the rooftop had very good views and relax spot, very clean property and top notch service, thank you Grand Beach, we will see you soon!!

We were very happy with the room and the resort. The staff was friendly , particularly Etty who made us very comfortable every time we went to dine and eat. Pool was nice and kid friendly. Overall a very positive experience. I would recommend to anyone who wants a family friendly experience.

Terrible beware!!!!

RON from the front desk is too arrogant to fix any issues. Terrible!!! I cannot emphasize this enough and this is not our first visit. The AC does not work and if you ask the hotel to fix it they will clearly tell you that it is an ongoing hotel issue. RON the hotel manager will actually make you sound like a simpleton if you complain about the air conditioning not working. Ron offered another room that also had no ac and said we should have made sure before moving rooms. 1 elevator works the hot tub heaters are broken it really is unfortunate that the hotel is now so run down.

Two of South Florida’s BEST!

I had a business lunch today, Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Grand Beach Hotel in Surfside, Florida.                     The person who was taking care of us was Etty, and she remains simply the best in the business.  I have known her since her days at the Delano in Miami Beach.  She is the picture of professionalism and 5-star service.    In my business, I do a ton of business entertaining and find the Grand Beach Hotel of exceptional high quality.  The food is top-notch, and the décor and setting are conducive to intimate, productive business lunches.  Today, I had three of my best caballero who flew in from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and these guys are very high maintenance with very sophisticated international standards.  Etty handled this crowd with ease and anticipated their every gastronomical need.  They were highly complimentary of not only Etty but also Grand Beach Hotel   Etty and Grand Beach Hotel are perfect together.  Two of  South Florida’s best!

Not recommended

Our experience at Grand Hotel Surfside in Miami was utterly disappointing. During our stay, we had to switch rooms three times due to an extremely noisy air conditioner and disruptive, loud tourists. The walls are so thin that sleeping was impossible. The front desk staff spoke poor English and seemed completely unaware of how to assist guests. The hotel restaurant is outrageously expensive: two pancakes, two eggs, and coffee cost us $100. The rooms were far from clean; we found bloodstains on the bed linens, and the terrace was never cleaned. We have photos that clearly show the unacceptable state of the property. The beach was chaotic, with young people blasting loud music. Although this is officially not allowed, bribing the beach staff gave them permission to play music loudly and secure a front-row spot. Without paying extra, guests were relegated to the back rows. The staff was generally unfriendly and unhelpful. The rooftop terraces were filthy, the minibar prices were exorbitant, and there were unreasonable surcharges, such as a $15 fee for breakfast and dinner. The price-to-quality ratio of this hotel is completely unacceptable. This was our first and last visit. Absolutely not recommended.
