Amandari

Peace. That is the first thing you will feel when you went inside the Peaceful Soul which literally translates the name Amandari. We had a van transfer from Amankila to Amandari courtesy of them and it is a village within a village. We welcomed by Bapak Arkan, Front Office Manager with the team and we are assisted by Ibu Bianca, our Villa host. She explained in details everything in our villa and that we have a gift upon arrival which is the sarong. The room is huge, fronting the river and ricefields. We enjoyed their afternoon tea with hot ginger drink. The restaurant, which is the only outlet inside that offers international cuisine and I would like to highlight the falaffel. It is so big that it is good for 2 servings! Also their wagyu pasta! And the name that marks in the resort is Satya, from the transportation/concierge team. He is so pleasing, very helpful and he showcase his work well. We have been assisted multiple times and mostly on our departure, which leaves us speechless to let him accommodate us to look for a hotel which is handicapped friendly. You made our stay remarkable. You are a gem Satya. GM Michel also bid us farewell when we leave and all of the team did a great job. They even gave us pastries upon departure. We met couple of F&B staff but forgot their names. If you are looking for a disconnected place but at the same time, 3 minutes away from the Ubud downtown, you have to check this out. It was our second time staying at Amandari, All I can say is the services was Excellent 10/10. From the airport pick up, the driver is full knowledge about Bali area, we were greeted by the GM and Resort Manager upon arrival, the staff are professionally friendly. The Room and amenities was amazing! Also we had a great breakfast at Restaurant, where the Staff explained about our food and constantly visit us to ensure our needs were full filled. And their food are Excellent! I've tried their variety of sambals, they nailed it with all the flavors. It was an Amazing experience for Me & My Husband/ Thank you Amandari

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were taken away by the gorgeous valley river the hotel bar offers. Despite its age, the 3-bedroom villa we stayed at and the hotel was in kept in such an immaculate condition that it was almost as if it's new. Food was excellent and they had an interesting wine list. Service was warm, personable and attentive, everything had the magical touch as you'd expect at an Aman. Our butler Ade, who's a local that lives nearby, arranged a walk through the rice paddies with us and introduced the Ubud villages. The temple tour organised by the hotel was eqully good, the tour guide was funny, knowledgeable on everything - religion, local cultures, economy and politics. The in-villa yoga session was amazing, and the royal feast by the lotus pond was not something to be missed! The management team has done a great job and we would definitely come back to Amandari in the future.

We just came back from our holiday and Amandari is a beautiful place we were so happy there. Everyone was so nice and attentive especially DewaAyu from the restaurant. We look forward to her wonderful smile everyday and she always was so helpful and understanding. We will miss DewaAyu and everyone dearly and hopefully we will meet again one day. Amandari was one of the best places we have ever stayed and we will cherish those special moments forever.

Visited Amandari in March 2024 with my husband and had the most splendid stay. The hotel and the rooms are absolutely stunning and I love the small touches throughout the room and property. The food was great and each meal was better than the last. I absolutely loved the signature Aman cocktails they had to offer. Love the shuttle service from the hotel to the Ubud market, makes it really convenient to step out. The location of the property is really stunning with the view of the valley and convenience to Ubud market, other sightseeing spots. We took the tours to Bali bird and reptile park, some temples and waterfalls, etc. through Aman and were extremely happy with the guides. Mega who was our guide was so sweet and informative and really went out of the way to ensure we had an amazing experience. Also definitely recommend the spa, one of the best massages I have had. Siwi was my therapist and was amazing! Michel (GM) is so delightful to meet and always a pleasure to talk to! All the staff were so sweet and helpful and would go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met, including at the reception when it came to organising our tours or the restaurants to cater to our food requirements. Will most definitely be back!
