We had an excellent experience. The villas are comfortable, spacious and relaxing. The highlight of the stay was the friendly staff who provided great service. The included breakfast is sumptuous. The bonus is the included shuttle to near by places in Nusa Dua. Highly recommended the Bale. Don’t miss.

All I can say is, I’m so happy we spent our last few days in Bali at this beautiful retreat. Firstly, the rooms are so spacious, beautiful and clean. Absolutely loved the design of the entire hotel. We had our own pool and day bed which is ideal for relaxing in private. The hotel is so beautiful with a well maintained main pool and garden which provides greenery throughout the premises. I loved the fact that the Bale Nusa Dua is environmentally conscious with various initiatives to help prevent further harm to the environment. The hotel also has an app for efficient communication and helped us with all our requests including room service, booking transport in and around Nusa Dua, booking spa treatment and any assistance we needed. Secondly, the food was so tasty and full of flavour. The staff at the restaurant were so accommodating with our requests and made our stay great. Everyone was so kind and we felt so well taken care of. Thank you to Juna and ALL the staff at the restaurant. I cannot single out just one person because all of them were wonderful. Thirdly, all the staff of the Bale Nusa Dua were amazing and made sure we were comfortable and that our stay was memorable. From the time we got to the retreat, we were greeted by the friendliest concierge staff. Subkhi was especially a treat and so bubbly. The general manager, Greg, welcomed us with such a kind and gentle nature which set the tone for our stay. The staff at the spa was just as amazing and I really enjoyed the amazing massage ( a must on your last day). The gardening staff always greeted us with a warm smile. The housekeeping staff did an amazing job keeping our room clean and provided everything we needed in our room. We never had to ask for anything because it was always provided. The staff, on request, setup our room for a romantic night to celebrate our anniversary with flowers, bubbly and a special congratulations letter from the manager. Lastly, the highlight for our stay and our trip to Bali was the Balinese cooking class with Chef Beny. He took us through the entire process, from going to buy fresh ingredients at the local market area where many of the locals go, to prepping and cooking our authentic Balinese dishes. We had so much fun and Chef Beny is so funny, patient and such a great teacher (even if you’re an amateur cook like me 😅). I highly recommend booking this experience!! This was one of the best meals of our entire trip! We are so happy we chose to stay at The Bale Nusa Dua and it really is a luxury and tranquil experience that’s worth the cost.

Excellent welcome by Gobby on service desk at midnight; had a pleasant stay & amazing staff who makes you feel like home. Only 26 villas so room service was really quick. Clean rooms with infinity private pool and nice gym. Included free airport pickup & drop off plus amazing customised breakfast.

We actually went in November 2023 but it doesn't let me go that far. This property is not in the heart of Nusa Dua but this what makes it feel special. The property feels private with their pool villas that are very well appointed and have amazing bathrooms that connect into the pool. The dining was great and since the property has limited choices, they work with a local beach club that guests can go to. It's like a typical beach club that has a minimum spend to get the best loungers/space but the amount is not extortionate. The hotel offers complimentary transfers to the beach club and Nusa Dua. With their app, all you have to do is request when you would like to be picked up and dropped off and the driver will come and collect you. I would recommend this hotel for couples wanting a private retreat for 2 or 3 nights and want to combine with other parts of Bali. We had come from Seminyak so it was a welcome break from all the madness before we went to Ubud.

Very nice accommodations, loved the private pool! Food was great too, and the staff is beyond friendly - they were wonderful. Nice gym, nice tapas bar with live music too. Outdoor shower didn’t work at our room, but we didn’t mind. Outdoor day bed was great. Morning coffee while floating in the pool is the way to go.
