The Sakala Resort Bali

The resort was wonderful, boasting beautiful facilities. One of my highlights was the direct pool access from the room balcony, which was truly a fantastic feature. I also want to give a special mention to Yani and Demmy from the guest hospitality team. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. Whether it was recommendations for sightseeing, shopping tips, or answering our questions, they were always ready with helpful advice. Their warm and attentive service truly made our experience at Sakala Resort unforgettable.

Beware of the cancellation policy prior to booking. We made a booking at this hotel for July 2025 and believe that the promise of a private beachfront hotel are quite exaggerated with only a small sectioned off area to fit that criteria. We asked for a refund and were told no, as per their booking policy. I have since asked twice for an explanation as to why they cannot refund and have not received a response. Had I booked with a secondary site such as booking.com etc... the price was fully refundable, but when booking direct, you are not entitled. Very, very careful and vigilant when booking direct.

We were looking for rest and relaxation and received it in abundance. The staff were amazing from Demmy organising us books to read to Koming the chef who shared some of her recipes, which we have recreated at home. Thank you Koming for your very personal service. Derry introduced us to some lovely cocktails and made us feel welcome and special. Tiur thoughtfully made a takeaway breakfast when the other half had to have a day inside. Mei patiently answered all our questions. I cannot rate the staff highly enough and this made our holiday

Sakala resort made us feel so welcome right from the start, this is a beautiful resort which covers both sides of the road including a Beach Club with restaurants. The swimming pool is devine and has 2 pool bars, water slide and kids area. The breakfast was great with pretty much every cuisine to choose from. I would highly recommend a pool access room.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Sakala Resort with its stunning beach club for the second time, and it was just as impressive as our first visit! Our host, Yani, was absolutely fantastic - extremely helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with our requests. The service was truly exceptional, with every detail meticulously taken care of. The breakfast spread was also delightful, offering a wide range of delicious options to start our day off right. We're already looking forward to our next stay at this incredible resort!
