Uma by COMO, Ubud, immerses you in the culture of Bali while, also, providing luxurious amenities. The result is a fresh, original spirit that feels sleek from the moment you explore the wider region, its temples, the landscapes and the artisan workshops...while being escorted by our English-speaking guides. Entirely residential in feeling, Uma Ubud has the atmosphere of a rural hillside home. Narrow paths are defined by tall, lushly planted walls leading between rooms and suites, each of which have their own tropical garden. Large windows and indigenous materials, both, on the inside and on the outside bring the natural landscape in.

This was our first time in Ubud and it was exceptional. The staff are amazing you are greated by name at each interaction with them. They are caring and attentive. The resort itself is stunning. The room was luxurious. It had an indoor and outdoor shower, the bed was beautiful to sleep in. Very well rested. The room also had it's own coffee pod machine, kettle to make tea. Our daily breakfast was mouth watering with so many options. The restaurant dinner's were just as delicious. Como Uma also has daily yoga and walking treks which we did. I would highly recommend Como Uma if you want to be looked after and feel relaxed.

We stayed two nights in their pool suite. The room was luxurious with a private pool. The hotel was not very crowded and the staff’s service was excellent. The hotel is well located and not far from the town’s main square (palace and monkey forest road), where there is a variety of shopping and restaurants to savour. Como’s specialty Italian restaurant Cucina is a must try. Their poolside bar offers an interesting range of cocktails and a selection of Indonesian street food (the chicken satay with peanut sauce was exquisite). Their breakfast is served by a pond full of colourful fish. We treated ourselves to their signature sambhal massage at their spa and thoroughly enjoyed it. The resort is green and lush with vegetation.

The resort was spetacular and had a very peaceful atmotshere. Room was stylish and clean. We didn't have any issues with bugs coming into our room like other resorts we've stayed in the past. All the staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

I spent 3 days at this hotel on my own. I really enjoyed it. It is a long drive from Denpasar airport, admittedly. Traffic in Bali and Ubud in particular has got so much worse than the last time I was there. In fact Ubud is impossibly crowded now and really not as nice as it used to be. However this hotel is outside the town centre and very peaceful. I was upgraded to a villa with a terrace and small garden area overlooking the valley. I would recommend paying for the extra space/view. The room was very nicely furnished and he bathroom was excellent. Staff at the front desk, the pool bar and breakfast restaurant were all charming and very helpful. Breakfast was really lovely by the fish pool - great choice of fruit and cooked food. I ate dinner at the pool bar and the Uma Cucina - with other people I met there. Drinks and food were very good. I had two massages - blissful - and went for a couple of walks with the activities team. It was rainy season but otherwise really perfect. I'd definitely go again.

There are certain places in the world where you always look forward to visiting again, and UMA Ubud is one of those places. I’ve often called it our ‘ Home Away From Home’ and every visit is a enormous relaxing experience This time I’ve celebrated a special occasion at UMA and everything was so nice I never wanted it to end. The room with private pool was the best, the view in the morning while sipping a coffee and hearing the sounds of nature nearby ….. I get up extra early sometimes just for this experience. Breakfast at Kemiri is a likewise wonderful experience with the Koi pond in front, and very tasty dishes on their breakfast menu as well as freshly made juices, fruits, breads and homemade yoghurts, too many too mention. R joined the cooking class at Kemiri and as it turned out it was a private class to prepare a lovely fish dish together with the Chef of Uma. Throughout our stay and my birthday celebration the UMA Team has been nothing short of Excellent and Accommodating, so helpful in every way, a big thank you to all who made my celebration Stay One to Always Remember !! 👏🏻🙏🏼🙏🏼
