The result is a fresh, original spirit that feels sleek from the moment you explore the wider region, its temples, the landscapes and the artisan workshops...while being escorted by our English-speaking guides. Entirely residential in feeling, Uma Ubud has the atmosphere of a rural hillside home. Narrow paths are defined by tall, lushly planted walls leading between rooms and suites, each of which have their own tropical garden. Large windows and indigenous materials, both, on the inside and on the outside bring the natural landscape in.

Italy in Kedewatan

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Visited the restaurant one evening, just strolled in off the street and were lucky enough to get a table. What an unexpected pleasure to discover really excellent Italian cucina in Kedewatan. Had a great evening: nice cocktails at the bar follwed by great food and being entertained by an excellent jazz singer and crooner.

Wow

Just wow. We stayed three nights in an Uma pool villa, with a valley view and plunge pool. The views of the valley and jungle are stunning and the pool is the perfect temp to cool off in. It is private, serene and just magical. Prior to coming I read some reviews saying it was dated, it’s not. It’s classic elegance, that has aged patina, adding to its character. Our villa was immaculately clean and well maintained, we stayed in one of the older original ones by request, gorgeous. Photos do not do this hotel justice, there’s a vibe that you just can’t capture and it is so beautiful. The service was fantastic, nothing is too much trouble and to our surprise they even have a free doctor and nurse in-house should you need medical attention, our daughter had an eye irritation and mozzie bites. We ate at Kemiri for the Balinese dinner and dance the first night, which was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, set by the beautiful coy carp pond. But the stand out has to go to Cucina, the food is amazing, so we ate there twice. Hands down the best Italian food outside of Italy, the ricotta Gnocchi was to die for. Only negative, the mosquitoes and that’s just the location, so bring your deet bug spray. Thank you to all the staff for giving us life long memories and a wonderful anniversary. It’s truely magical, we will definitely be back.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and wish we’d stayed longer! We had the COMO villa which was so beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were so good and super super healthy (although u healthy options available too!).. Spa was brilliant and very good Balinese massage….

Relaxing & enjoyable

Really loved the food & service. Breakfast was so healthy. Rooms are a little dated & even though there seemed to be lots of girls travelling together there was a lack of twin rooms & the rooms are not ideal for friends. Lovely pool & service. Excellent bike ride through the rice fields.

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights after a friends recommendation. The rooms are lovely, we had one with a small plunge pool. The grounds are beautifully maintained and landscaped, the spa massage we had was fabulous and the daily breakfast was varied and delicious. They provided us a with a mango plate and mangosteen everyday if the kitchen had it. There are so many activities which you can take part in we did yoga, the daily walk which was fascinating with lovely Agung and a cooking class (for a small fee) with Chef Dewi which was a divine curry that I will make at home. You could not be bored here as there is so much to do. This is the type of hotel in Bali where if it can be done they make it happen. The staff are all 5 star. Ayu, Dian (all of the staff at front reception 🫶) are just two of the staff who we loved seeing each day as they helped to make our stay fabulous. I’d recommend Como Uma in a heart beat it is lovely with polished professional staff.
