We came here for the Chinese new year. At first our room was smelly and then they had changed it. We liked the hotel and restaurants in it, they were very good! The breakfast was great! Also we liked SPA. We went there 3 times and I want to thank Wiratni for great massage!!!

We had a fantastic 6 night stay at the InterContinental Jimbaran in a club lounge access garden view room. We were welcomed so warmly by the club staff and were made to feel very special from the moment we arrived . Our Butler Budi, who was so helpful and kind, showed us to our room which was lovely , the bathroom was modern and the WIR was huge, the room was so spacious and super comfortable. We had partial beach views and overlooked the gardens which are stunning and made relaxing very easy to do. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and were treated to a beautiful cake and gorgeous towel art of two swans which formed a heart, with rose petals scattered around, this was so sweet and a very thoughtful touch. Thank you. The grounds are huge, with amazing gardens to wander through, and many facilities to explore, there are multiple pools to choose from which all looked inviting. As we had club privileges we had exclusive access to the club pool, so we used this one and it was our favorite. It was large, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding, plus the non-alcoholic drinks were included. We also relaxed by the beach and watched the waves roll in as the planes departed, which was fun. The club perks also included afternoon tea from 2-4 pm, where we had the choice of a great range of teas and were served delicious sweet and savoury treats and club evening drinks and canapés from 5-7pm which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was also top-notch, with plenty of scrumptious and fresh, options to start the day. We enjoyed many delicious dinners at Jimbaran Gardens and KO Japanese and loved the Teppanyaki style of cooking. We were well looked after by the staff who went above and beyond. All of the staff at the resort were wonderful, especially in the club lounge, they were caring, friendly, and always happy to help, making us feel truly looked after. Overall, the InterContinental Jimbaran is pure bliss with beautiful surroundings, fantastic service, and plenty of luxury. It’s a truly special place to stay.

Service was definitely excellent. Room size can be better. Having a smart bidet toilet seat would be a plus. View was ok. Add more facilities especially for kids highly recommended. The gaming room was poorly maintained. Limited choices. It's probably more suitable for couples. Plenty of choices for breakfast meals. The check-in process was great. All sorted in no time. No delay. We had our room in no time. Please acknowledge the following people for their amazing service during our stay. Agus Budi Wira Widi

Adit in the club lounge was amazing…. Great guy and I wish him all success in his future. Always a great stay here. Third time here - there is a reason we come coming back and it is the rooms and the lounge. We had a mezzanine room with a couple of beds downstairs for the kids and it was perfect!

Had a fabulous 7 night stay at the Intercon Bali in January! Check in was relatively fast, we had advised the hotel of an early arrival and thankfully both rooms were ready when we arrived. The wonderful Frita checked us in, and due to my IHG status we received an upgrade to both rooms and a lovely wee Ambassador gift. The porters whisked our luggage away and met us in the rooms a few minutes after we got there. The rooms are large and spacious, even with the addition of a rollaway bed. Plenty of water, towels and amenities too (housekeeping also come around late afternoon to restock anything you may need, a sort of mini turndown which is great). We had an issue on the first night where the aircon did not work fully and the room was unbearably hot, I reported it first thing in the morning and the technician was on site a few hours later. The room was blissfully icy for the rest of our stay! We also had to request milk/coffee creamer as there was none in either of our rooms, after speaking to the responsible person he ensured to visit every morning with a glass of fresh milk and plenty of coffee for each day. The walk through wardrobe was perfect and is one of the few properties we have stayed in where we can unpack everything and still have space for the suitcases to be tucked away. The spa was lovely, we had an unfortunate experience where we were sent to the treatment villa after requesting the same room for me and my husband. It was hot and noisy and not a great experience, but after letting the team know about the issue we were offered a complimentary massage to redeem the service and it was amazing. The sauna/plunge pool/jacuzzi facilities for before/after are also really good. We ate on site each night, there is a good variety of food available. Ko, the Japanese restaurant, is delicious and a really cool setting. The service and attention to detail for both sushi and teppanyaki sides of the restaurant was awesome. Bella Cucina is divine! We went twice it was so good. The staff are amazing, we had the wonderful Maheesa for our second visit and even though he had only been there for four months he did a fab job! My daughter is still asking us to make ‘penne’ bolognaise in a bento box now we are home!! Budi and his team (special mention to Oka and Lingga) at breakfast are superstars. They keep the queues moving along swiftly and clear plates away super fast. Coffee is made to order and we were always asked if we wanted another/anything else. Plenty of options available at the buffet, including made to order eggs. I loved the kids station with kid friendly options, and plastic plates/bowls available for them too. The fish food from the front desk was a hit and we enjoyed taking a few cones each morning and visiting the fish in the different ponds around the resort. The swimming pools are so good, the main pool is really deep we were on our very tippy toes but the pool bar kept us going back! We enjoyed going to the different pools (which are all different temperatures) for a change of scenery each day. There were always plenty of pool loungers available which was fantastic, the best spots are along the beach front for the cooler sea breeze. The staff around the pool are also lovely, and we never waited long for our drinks to arrive when ordering. My only feedback for this area is to have collection sites for pool towels dotted around the area – the towels are gorgeous and massive and fluffy but that makes them very heavy to lug back to the towel area once they are wet! The staff did assist us when they saw us walking with towels, however we noticed some people just left the towels on the loungers when they left rather than walk them back. We had Singaraja Lounge access with our rooms, whilst this was an awesome benefit, the food/drink is quite limited compared to Club InterContinental. It was a great space to pop in for a coffee or coke during the day, and the sandwiches in the afternoon were a good light alterative for a late lunch but the evening drinks and canapes were a bit disappointing. There are only local wines available, which we personally did not enjoy, and the canapes very limited. Unfortunately, we required the clinic during our stay as my husband fell on a slippery surface getting out the pool. The staff noticed his fall and ensured we were taken care of. We were bought ice and water for him, and when it became clear he needed to see a doctor rang for the buggy to take us up. The staff were all very helpful giving my husband assistance to walk (or rather, hobble) to the clinic and the medical team saw to his comfort. We were able to loan crutches and a wheelchair for the rest of our stay. A great service to have available! The hotel is stunning, with lots of greenery and sculptures everywhere, and plenty of fish ponds. The entrance with planted arch way is AMAZING, especially at night. In walking distance are shops/bars/restaurants/pharmacies/mall. There is a big Coco supermarket about 5-10 minutes walk away which stocks souvenirs too – a lovely airconditioned store to escape the Bali heat! There are not as many shops on the streets as somewhere like Sanur, but enough to have a look at and buy a few things. Overall, a fantastic stay and we look forward to coming back soon.
