About the Hotel
The Petanu River carves out a lush valley that cradles Kamandalu Ubud, a collection of villas that immerses guests in the Balinese way of life. “Kamandulu,” adopted from Sanskrit, means “the vessel that holds the holy water,” a moniker that encourages finding inner peace. Ubud dream
Very kind staff, good food and services! Villa rooms are very cozy and bali-daybed is a masterpiece. The ”Tangy Temptation” is a must try. It feels like you’re living in village out in the jungle, sometimes shy monkey will visit the hotel grounds. Will be back for sure!

Honeymoon trip
It was a beautiful honeymoon trip even though the weather was really bad. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. They always went above and beyond. They always accommodate our needs. We had a private candle light dinner as well which was really beautiful.

10/10 for luxury, accommodation and tranquil setting close to Ubud
Location - peaceful setting, 10min ride to Ubud. A free shuttle bus operates regularly or use the Uber equivalent, Gojek. Resort - luxury and amazing views of the jungle area where you can watch monkeys in the infinity pool. Accommodation - luxury. The bed is insanely comfortable, probably the best I’ve slept on. Food - top and quality and good mix of traditional and western. Options for all. Services - jungle massage was well worth it. Tour to rice paddy fields was very good with their tour guide. I really enjoyed spending a lot of my time by the infinity pool, very peaceful. The complimentary yoga was excellent in an elevated position in the treetops. Very good (I’m not even into yoga but loved it). Staff - and last but not least, the staff. They were incredibly professional and kind at all times and could not do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. Incredibly lovely people.

Ubud delight…
Staff were brilliant and extremely supportive. They were so invested in our holiday. All staff were great, bothTiwi at the front desk and Raka our daily tour guide were wonderful. Food was delicious and the 2 bedroom villa suited our family of 5 very well. Pools were wonderful for lazy afternoons and enjoying a well crafted cocktail.

Great time!
Amazing meal, amazing atmosphere! Staff is friendly and accomodating. Would definitely recommend! We came here on Honeymoon and immediately felt at peace and have had a wonderful experience. This place encapsulates the beaty and wonder of Bali, and in particular Ubud.
