Good service, interesting territory, but the interior of the villa needs renovation. I was at the villa for only 1 day, I have been living in Bali for more than 3 years. I have heard a lot about this hotel, but I do not consider this place the best. The old design and salty air quickly wear out the villas. I like Ubud better, with its cooler climate and gorgeous views of the jungle and rice fields. Thank you for the good service, but I did not find the renovation fresh enough. 🙏

We had the deal which seemed quite good. They said all we had to do was do a one hour tour of the facilities. They put us in a limo to go there the one hour tour turned into being 2.5 hours. They then get you to sign up for at least $30,000 AUD to join their membership program. They say it’s not a hard cell, but it really is. They’re pushing you the entire way to sign up to their program. I think their program may be great if you travel at least five times a year to get the benefit of it. When you decline their offer to pay the $30,000 AUD, they put you back into a taxi, not a limo to take you back to Karma Kandara. I have to say the breakfast was average at best and the same every single day. I think the villas would be lovely, but you need to get a golf buggy from your room to breakfast or dinner every single time as it’s quite a distance away from breakfast. There is nothing around the area at all. They have a private beach which you need to get on a bus to go down to. The beach is lovely and they have food and music playing, which is great. That’s probably the best part of the entire resort.

Not worth the price, service was appalling and food was sub-par. The lift to the beach doesn't work and even after the shuttle you have to climb a 100 steps.

An amazing location to visit and one of the only karma resorts where non-members can stay in their newly opened Apartments, which are amazing - but they are still ironing out some of the rough edges on how they support this new venue. Our experience was one where the location and apartment was amazing, and we every day had a small thing that annoyed us, and whilst they went to herculean extents to try and solve, just missed the mark consistently over the stay. Small problems included - breakfast only provided as a continental - with 10 pieces of toast and 3 single serves of butter. - room service food delivered 30 minutes late, cold chips and luke warm nasi goreng; desert delivered warm, but by warming it they melted the accompanying ice cream, - booked the Friday morning e-bike ride in their app, reminded to book again a day later if we wanted to participate, we had to complete the form - which did not exist. - Lift to the beach not working, so waited 30 minutes for a bus to comp pick us up - got stuck in the new lift with no emergency phone or contact for 5 minutes. It was so frustrating as the venue is amazing, the facilities great - but work done on the finer things to make the experience truly amazing

This hotel has a lot to offer! The villas were spacious with a lovely layout with easy access to the beach. The food across all restaurants was good. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. I gave it 4 stars as some areas look a bit tired. For example, our villa kitchen, cupboards/closets as well as the outside decking area look a bit tired. Also, the main restaurant area needs some attention cosmetically.
