This is the perfect couples getaway… beautiful private room with a garden in the bathroom. The view of the pool and breakfast served daily at your desired time in your private lanai just added to the whole experience. Be sure to book a massage or two!

While the staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating, my experience with the owners/management left much to be desired. I initially booked my stay without an extra night. Later, I inquired about extending my stay, and management confirmed it was possible. I proceeded with a separate booking for the additional night. However, I later decided that staying at another hotel for my final night would be preferable due to location and comfort reasons. While Karmagali was okay, it felt a bit run down. I asked if I could cancel the extra night, and management assured me multiple times that this would not be a problem. To avoid any miscommunication, I confirmed this on several occasions. Relying on their confirmation, I booked another hotel for my last night in Bali. I only made this decision after their approval—had they declined my request, I would have kept my original booking. Throughout my stay, I reconfirmed verbally that I would be leaving as per my initial reservation, and they acknowledged this. Despite this, the owners later altered my booking to include the extra night, charging me for a stay that was never agreed upon, contracted, or used. This kind of misleading and dishonest booking practice is unacceptable and left a sour taste after what could have been a great stay. I strongly advise future guests to triple-check their reservations and obtain written confirmation of any changes, as my experience suggests verbal agreements may not be honored. It’s a shame because the location and staff were wonderful, but I cannot recommend a place where management operates in this manner.

An Unforgettable Stay at Karmagali Boutique Suites! Our week long stay at Karmagali was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking views. The villa is beautifully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean. The pool and private outdoor seating area were highlights, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal—peaceful yet walking distance to the main street of Sanur. It is also close to Liga Tennis; if you plan to hit some balls during your stay. Just a short 4 mins walk away, you can find a massage salon & a cafe that serves one of the most beautifully designed smoothie bowl you’ve ever seen. The villa had all the amenities we needed. Beds were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The attention to detail in the decor and the well-maintained garden added to the charm. A special shoutout to Putu and the rest of the team for their exceptional service and quick responses to any requests we had. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to return. There is a resident calico cat who is so adorable that you absolutely have to meet! Highly recommend Karmagali Boutique Suites for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway!

A very private and tranquil setting with the pool at your doorstep. The room was so comfy, nice and a really good mix of modern Balinese style. Staff were super lovely and breakfast was very good/fresh. We stayed here for relaxation on our last two nights in Bali, absolutely loved it. Would stay again !

What a fantastic hotel. I chose this place because I wanted to spend my birthday in a more intimate setting. We were a group of 13 and took all 7 rooms. What a space!! The booking process was seamless, the rooms exactly as pictured!. Breakfast and lunch were delicious and let me tell you how we were spoiled!! It was a fantastic location and super safe! Highly highly recommend!!
