Beautiful view over the river in the middle of the jungle, a perfect escape. Thank you to our butler Krishna for combining humour and knowledge as we were welcomed to the room. A must stay if you want a relaxing retreat away from busy streets and loud crowds

We had the absolute pleasure of joining a walking tour with Darma, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Being a local, he had a deep understanding of the area’s culture, traditions, and natural surroundings, which he generously shared with us throughout the walk. He introduced us to various native plants like lemongrass and citronella and even demonstrated how locals used to make toys and necklaces using plants. He crafted a beautiful plant necklace for my wife right on the trail — a small gesture that meant a lot to us. His warmth and care were felt in every moment of the tour. From explaining cultural practices to guiding us through the flora, he made us feel completely at ease. He even welcomed us into a local home where we enjoyed traditional tea and learned about local beekeeping. We had the chance to taste and purchase some delicious honey straight from the source. It was clear he takes pride in his community and genuinely cares about the experience of his guests. If you’re looking for an authentic, informative, and heartwarming tour.

We have had a pleasant stay here. It’s our second time at this place and we love it. It’s in the jungle by the side of the river. More than the hotel, we enjoyed having hosted by the lovely staff, specially Karsana, Amy, Gusto and several others. The hospitality has been amazing, the people will cater to your needs as best as possible. The river view rooms have the most amazing forest views, listening to the water rapids at night was very calming. Most of the rooms are on the side of the valley, so a bit of up and down hill walking is involved but not too much of a problem for an unfit 35+ yo😅. The spa was the best we have experienced in Bali so far (facial and body massage) Big thank you to Taban and Kawsana and their team for being so kind
