Absolutely fantastic.

What an amazing place, from the moment you arrive you feel welcomed. True Balinese hospitality, every team member cared and greeted on every interaction. The food and beverage was exceptional and so much to choose from, the views perfect. Check in was seamless and efficient, the room well appointed and spotlessly clean. Our kids had the best time, enjoyed the pools, the beach and the activities. We will most certainly be back.

Wonderful family resort

We’ve had another wonderful family holiday at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa! We loved it so much the year before, we came back again and weren’t disappointed. The service was fantastic from our incredible Roomboy Edi who kept our rooms so tidy and clean and was always so helpful to the wonderful Sinta at the pool bar who was so lovely and friendly, always! Wonderful staff like them made our stay so enjoyable :-) The resort also had great facilities which we used often including tennis courts, gym, bikes and lovely pools. The only thing I would like to see more of is the availability of seats around the pools. It was very hard to get any at any time because people kept them all day, so more seats would be great!

It’s ok

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The hotel itself was beautiful and staff were friendly. The pool had tiles coming off under our feet, the food options had no hint of Balinese unless you want room service. Bookings for restaurants fill fast and the inability to accommodate for more than 6 people at 1 table is disappointing. Food took an hour to arrive at all restaurants and room service. The loud entertainment kept us interrupted until 10pm. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Drinks and food other than breakfast don’t open until 10am and no stores in sight to buy water and snacks. We found a cockroach in my friends room and a lizard in mine. All in all it’s ok for couples or a small family but not for groups or big families.

Fabulous holiday in beautiful Bali

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

+ comfy beds + great sun loungers + beautiful grounds and pool + bean bags in pool + amazing places to visit, feels safe + people so friendly + excellent service + Bali collection for eating out + vip check in/out lounge + pool towel system very easy + poolside buzzers + good gym + lovely beach & pathways - hotel room not as brochure - activity programme not all on - traffic in Bali busy - indoor spa not communal - could do with water stations Top tips: - You can change money at the hotel at a reasonable rate (better than in the UK) - Taxis from the hotel are relatively expensive but still cheap at 50k IDR or £2.50 for a few miles but outside hotel 7.5k + ~7k/kilometer - Driver + guide for all day trip is only about £60. But need to allow extra for entry costs to attractions. Some are very reasonable like temples and others similar to UK. Drivers may get kickbacks so stick to what you want to do. Tannah Lot + rice fields + lake temple was best day trip. - Carla’s spa close by and very good value for massages etc. at ~160k or £8/h - sunbeds a bit limited around pool so best to secure by 7am - very humid - most places include tax @ 11% and service charge @ 5-10% so no need to tip - if not all inclusive, take some water bottles to fill up at breakfast/gym etc. - Bali collection only 1km away and ideal if eating out as wide choice of restaurants which are not that expensive. Warungs are small cafe style eateries which are a cheaper option if preferred. - Airport is a bit of a nightmare getting through security. You need to do an Electronic Customs Declaration to get a QR code. It is also worth doing the visa online in advance before you leave to avoid the queues. Just check a few sources to find the right site.
