Absolutely beautiful resort; staff was very welcoming, polite, and kind. The site states it's a 3 star (?) resort but our experience was 5-star! The room was very spacious with tub and shower overlooking outdoor area (private) and very clean. Fresh fruit was provided daily too. The resort also offers morning yoga which we took advantage of. There is also a gym by the spa and it had everything you need plus a view of beautiful garden. Breakfast was delicious esp. the fresh smoothie and was served in outdoor area. The resort wasn't busy when we were there and we enjoyed the large pool by ourselves most of the time...as well as the beach. The bar area and restaurant is nice but a bit pricy. There is also nearby restaurant (Kudeta) and others within walking distance of the resort. While the hotel provides shuttle to few stops in town, traffic is bad so best to walk as Seminyak square is close by. Overall an excellent stay in Seminyak...only regret was not staying longer.

The rooms are a little dated but a seasoned traveller will appreciate the finer things. Well maintained rooms and gardens, room service with an attention to detail that I haven’t seen since Japan, all rooms are ground level (no high rise) which gives a feeling of intimacy, great location (walking distance to the street market, Seminyak Square and popular bars and restaurants yet you feel you are a world away from the busy area) and service that is exceptional.

The location is perfect, you walk in the main street with all hustle and bustle, all of a sudden you enter the property and its quite and beautiful. The service and food were amazing, they also had pick your pillow which was good option. Food - One of the best part of the resort was the food options and it was very flavorful. The breakfast beach view was amazing, with breeze. Service/Staff - As expected service was what you expect from any Oberoi hotel, Great. Room - It was a good and spacious room, only down side is privacy as the front door if curtains are not drawn, everyone walking around can see inside the room. SPA - 3.0 out of 5 experience, on the other hand my wife and friends had good experience, so may be the masseuse.

The location makes you feel like you’re in an oasis and another world away from the chaos of Seminyak. The grounds are lovely and impeccably maintained, but the real Star would be the staff. They’re very good at remembering names, but more importantly, they do so many small things that are almost imperceptible. One day we were lounging by the pool and someone came around and cleaned everyone’s sunglasses. On another, we had to do some laundry and noticed that the piece of paper you fill in already had our name and room number handwritten in. I’ve stayed in many five star hotels around the world, but the level of service and kindness from the staff really is at the very top level. Thank you!

Already visited many times this Oberoi Hotel: Excellent Balinese style hotel at the beach. Wonderful, friendly & professional staff, who have an eye for every detail of your stay. Recently a new chef started in the hotel, and missing easy traditional dishes on the menu, esp. when you are staying longer for couple of days. As everywhere in Bali alcohol drinks are pricy & limited in your glasses. Looking forward to my next stay in Bali.
