Pita Maha Resort & Spa

From the moment we arrived in the delightful reception of the Pita Maha Resort and Spa, we were welcomed with a heartfelt warmth and personal attention that we have experienced rarely in our travels. The entire team of this stunning hotel are a credit to the management and owners. We had booked a 10 night stay in a Garden Villa which was beyond our expectations. From small details like the aromatic bath salts in a ceramic jar, fresh fruit platter on arrival, complimentary bottles of water and twice daily cleaning, to mention just a few - made our stay one to remember. The inviting infinity pool, with personal bar service and views of the luscious green interior of Bali, literally took your breath away. The canang sari offerings placed outside our villa each day were a very special touch and the 24/7 room service was a welcome addition to the restaurant facilities / a special mention to Ketut Santika the restaurant and bar manager, who's kind customer service an personal attention was very much appreciated, along with his superb team of chefs and service staff / nothing was too much trouble. My favourite feature of our villa was the magical outdoor bath and the sounds of the surrounding birds and insects that sang a personal dawn chorus for us every morning it seemed. Our trip sadly had to come to end and even when leaving we were gifted a beautiful hand painted wooden egg, so that we might remember this wonderful trip forever. Ubud and it's people touched our hearts, but the wonderful staff of the Pita Maha Resort elevated our trip to the most memorable experience which we will treasure forever. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing time. Sankita was very helpful and made us feel relaxed. We had a villa with its own pool which was beautiful to relax in after a day of exploring. The views were gorgeous. Loved the air conditioning! We can’t forget to mention the wonderful ladies in the massage suite for their soothing massages.

Arrived to such a warm welcome by staff, super friendly and ready to help at a moments notice. We stayed in a couples villa which looked amazing it had its on private pool it was nice and quiet and the scenery was amazing. While we were here we spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and drinking cocktails, the food was fantastic and available 24/7. It was quite warm but we found it easy to escape the heat of the day. The air conditioning units probably need a service in the rooms as they were not freezing cold. All in all I left this place with my wife feeling very relaxed.

Myself and my husband had the most amazing stay at Pita Maha as part of our honeymoon trip. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, nothing is ever too much to ask! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Villa Spa which was just incredible (pics attached). The beds are comfortable, facilities ample, breakfast was great and the evening food we ate in the hotel was also lovely. The hotel offer a free shuttle bus into Ubud town which is just a 5-10 minute drive away which was very reliable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of coming to stay in Bali!

We stayed at the pita Maha for 5 nights after staying elsewhere in Bali before hand. We had an amazing stay, and had an upgrade to a room with a private pool when staff found out we were on our honeymoon. Can’t fault the hotel or the staff at all, it was clean and well kept, views are amazing of the jungle and all staff very friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of steps but this was known before and not a problem for us. We would happily stay again and would defiantly recommend to others. Thanks to all the staff at the hotel for making it an amazing honeymoon for both of us!
