Amazing place

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Wow. This is probably the last resort we stayed at Seminyak Beachfront. We have been in all of them more than once. Never in Samaya Villas. the place is amazing. One of the best villas we stayed in Bali. Position is perfect and relaxing. Very close to everything you need. But what makes this place even better are people who work here. It seems to me that they don't know the meaning of "We can't ". Everything here is possible and they know it before you do. All this made possible by a person in charge - Karmaya Resort Service Manager. Thank you Karmaya for looking after us. We definitely will be back. Regards Michael & Bella Rozen

Everything we could have dreamed of!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We held our wedding at the Samaya in October, The venue was absolutely stunning! From start to finish the wedding was breathtaking. Sri and Rini were so incredibly helpful and prompt through the whole planning process and throughout the whole wedding, We are so grateful for their service! The Samaya staff were unbelievable and so attentive. The quality of the food and presentation was amazing and the wedding venue decoration and florals were so beautiful. The Villa Accommodation and included butler service and also the afternoon tea were also spectacular, We didn't leave the resort for the 2 days we stayed as everything was there! The Samaya is a gem, Well worth every $. I can't recommend enough!

Beautiful Hotel & Location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Beautiful hotel with the most wonderful staff who cannot do enough for you. We had a court yard villa across the road from the main hotel which was simply stunning. A special shout out to our butler Kris who helped us with restaurant recommendation's and anything we needed. We ate in the hotels restaurant twice and the food is really good. The afternoon tea at the hotel is really good. The location overlooking the beach is simply stunning location and we really didn’t want to leave.

Family Food Poisoning

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The location, the villa's, the views at sunset and most importantly the butler staff are amazing. However, in our most recent visit our entire family contracted food poisoning at the hotel. We know this because we only ate at the hotel on the day of the poisoning. This was not Bali Belly. This was every member of the family becoming violently ill (>20 times per person) within a matter of hours, and me having to be taken away in an ambulance during the night. This lasted for the last 2 days of our holiday. After returning to the hotel in the ambulance I requested to speak to the hotel general manager. He delegated this to another manager. The general manager only seems to be visible when working out at the gym in the mornings. The following day during check-out I was shocked to receive my bill in full, without a single cent of compensation for what had happened. When I expressed my surprise, they told me they would remove the evening meal which was the last meal before we all fell sick. This was approx. 150 SGD. This was insignificant relative to what we lost: 2 days at the hotel lost because of the poisoning from the hotel at >$1000 SGD, and >$800 SGD on medical bills for my trip in the ambulance and a second doctor call-out for my child. We won't be staying here again.
