With an address like no other, The St. Regis Bali Resort brings barefoot sophistication and chic elegance to the soft, sandy beaches of Nusa Dua, the Garden of Bali. As the azure waters of the Indian Ocean gently meet the sandy beach running along the front of the resort, the sounds of the lush jungle behind fills the air, creating an atmosphere that is pure tropical paradise. The resort(TM)s private gardens, pools, calm lagoon and exquisitely appointed suites and villas feel more like a decadent private residence than a resort. The St. Regis is utter refinement at home, in the lap of a luxurious natural paradise.

Excellent service from each and every member of staff. Tasty breakfast, beautiful grounds. It is a busy hotel so if you are after zen type of experience it might not be the right place. It is more of "Dubai" than Maldives with pretentiously dressed and in some instances outrageously behaved guests. None of the above is a fault of the resort , of course. We found every person from the reception staff to the gardeners keen to help and kind. The client orientated service in its perfection. The hotel is old but well maintained. Having stayed at Jumeirah Uluwatu and ex Chedi property in Ubud (both more expensive) St Regis is far superior in all areas. Having visited Laguna and Ritz Nusa Dua ,both do not deserve 5 star ratings at all, if we are ever in Bali as a family we will pick St Regis and recommend others to do the same. I will not compare the hotel with Bulgari or Aman properties as it would be unfair and it is in a completely different price range, but certain new resorts in Bali have a long way to go to catch up with this well run property.

I need to be as just as fair as I can. We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon part in Nusa Dua. Pros: 1. Excellent service provided by EVERYONE from reception to restaurant staff to concierge to beach/pool staff. I think this is the biggest pro that the hotel offers. 2. complimentary upgrade to a very decent suite given my mariott bonvoy membership and our honeymoon occasion. This was very well received by us, and we really appreciated the gesture, along with the cake/card waiting for us in the room. 3. One of the best (if not the best) breakfast buffets I've ever had. The lobster omelette was out of this world. 4. Complimentary transfer to and from the hotel in a luxury vehicle was an excellent touch 5. It's own reef which you can explore by snorkelling/glass canoe 6. Amazing hotel grounds/garden to walk through, with a very interesting chef's garden. 7. Very nice and well maintained gym 8. They granted our wish for a late checkout which again was very well received, and it did help us enjoy the hotel facilities to the maximum before we left for the airport. Cons: 1. The hotel is dated. It's well maintained, but the years have had a toll and this shows in the interior and exteriors. The grounds are really large, almost plethoric, and some things don't really make sense to me, such as the HUGE saltwater lagoon. 2. Although the upgrade was really thoughful and kind, I found it a bit cold that there was nothing complimentary in the room apart from water/coffee. I think even a one-off fridge stocking with soft drinks/nuts/chocolate etc, would make the experience warmer, with probably not a big financial detriment to the hotel. Additionally, the prices of the mini-bar options/wine etc, were quite high that what I would have expected even for a five star resort 3. Dining/beverage options are expensive, in line with a 5* resort. All in all, if you want to stay in a signature brand hotel, at a nice resort area of Bali, then this is for you, taking in mind the prices that go along with it.

A massive thank you to all the St Regis for giving us such a fabulous holiday! What a hotel and team! 👌 We upgraded to a Villa which was a fantastic decision on behalf of my husband. The villa was gorgeous, providing us the option of a private garden and stretched of the immaculate beach. Our neighbours rarely used the beach so we felt like we had it to ourselves which really was special! The customer service was amazing! You really know how to make your customer feel like a customer and give them an experience to remember without being over familiar or overbearing! Thank you Felix for inviting us to The Cloud 9 BBQ with Chef Spencer Patrick, it was a wonderful experience, the setting, the band, everything was perfect! The BBQ at our villa was another highlight, we felt so spoilt! The gentleman who looked after us made it. There’s a man happy in his work! Such a lovely man and great sense of humour (I’ve left it too long to do this review and annoyingly I have clean forgotten everyone’s names!) The brunch was incredible! We loved every movement of it! The setting, the choice and quality of food and drinks was wonderful! Again, the team made it! No pomp and ceremony, we were made to feel incredibly comfortable from the off! I doubt we’ll experience a brunch like that again! The Chef is such a nice guy, again a man, very happy in his work! The Afternoon Tea was another great experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it! We cannot fault a thing, if you’re deliberating over a stay here, run don’t walk! You’d been hard pushed not to have the most amazing time here! Thank you all! Memories firmly banked! We hope to return in the future! 🤞🏻 The gym is great!

We came back to St Regis Bali for the third time, the first with our child. Quite simply, it remains the best hotel that we have ever stayed at. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted by friendly staff and beautiful music, played by Gede on the rindik. Gede was so friendly, always giving us flowers and wishing us “rahajeng semeng” without fail. He was really lovely to our child and made them smile every time! As part of our Marriott Bonvoy membership, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to Villa Suite. The Villa Suite was wonderful, and we could spend a long time talking about all of its positives! It was absolutely massive, big enough for our child to run back and forth endlessly. The bed was enormous and comfortable, with the air conditioning and the fan being powerful enough to ensure the room remained nice and cool. The bathroom was nice, with two sinks, a powerful shower and a large bathtub which our child really enjoyed! We also had breakfast as part of our stay at Boneka, which we have already reviewed separately. In short, Boneka was truly exceptional. We also had numerous food and drinks at the Vista Bar, and it is here we want to mention two individuals. Firstly, Baba, who kept ensuring our child was well fed and hydrated. Secondly, Japa who taught us so many words and phrases in Indonesian and Balinese; Japa also made sure that we were well looked after and engaged in lots of friendly conversation, which was a pleasure. It was truly lovely and really made us feel at home. We also had ice cream every day at the Gourmand Deli and the cakes (particularly the lemon one) and food were delicious. The staff at the Gourmand Deli were also very kind and helpful. Of course, the beach and the swimming pools were incredible. Nothing more needs to be said about how good they were. We visited the children's learning centre a few times with our child and she had a lot of fun playing with various musical instruments, reading books and painting. The facilities were great and the staff entertained our child. Beyond the hotel rooms, its facilities, and amenities, the most important thing that made our stay truly exceptional were the staff. Whilst we knew how amazing they were from our first two visits, we saw a different side when we visited with our child. Each and every member of staff were so friendly, engaging, and happy when they interacted with our child. It was so nice to see, and really made our stay incredible. We also want to mention a few members of staff. We have already mentioned Suyasa, Antini, Guna, and Swandewi in our review of Boneka. However, we also want to make a special mention of Swandewi, who was so kind to us and even gave our daughter a gift when we were nearing the end of our stay. This was such a heartfelt gesture which we have never received before, and we were surprised and touched at her kindness. We really hope that St Regis Bali conveys how thankful and appreciative we are to Swandewi. We want to thank our butlers, Edi and Agus, who were patient and kind in dealing with our requests for milk and pressing services. We also want to thank Agung Putra, who personally came to us many times to ensure that we were fine after a very, very minor issue that we raised. He didn’t have to, but the fact that he did showed that he really cared about ensuring we had as good a stay as possible. All in all, if we were to sum up our stay at the St Regis Bali, it was simply perfect.
