W Bali, Seminyak

My partner and I always rush to Bali for our leisure trips. And the name W Bali smeniyak always comes to our mind first for a stay. We have stayed at this hotel at least 7/9 times. Every time this hotel makes us come back again. The luxurious rooms with huge ocean view balconies, well-equipped gym, full breakfast buffet, grand pool side area, spacious lobby make this a truly premium Marriott resort among the best beach destinations. The most important thing is the associates of this hotel. The very natural and warm Balinese people always draw me to this hotel. I think I will not stop coming back here on my vacations until they stop me.

This was our second time to Bali as we live a world away and it's not easy to get to. However, when deciding where to visit and where to stay, we knew it had to be the W Bali, given the amazing experience we had during our last stay! Check in: We pre-arranged transportation with the hotel before arriving, and everything went smoothly. Upon arrival to the hotel, check in was a very friendly experience. Even during check in, we interacted with many friendly staff members and we felt very welcome, just like our first visit. Ayu was our villa host and she came to introduce herself during check in. The W Bali has one of the best check in processes, you feel like family from the start! Villa: Coincidentally, we were able to get the same villa we stayed in during our first visit! It was such a welcome surprise. Ayu made sure we were comfortable and settled and helped us with arranging to see the sunset and with dinner for the evening. The villa was still looking great! We love the private pool, it is a slice of heaven. The inside was immaculate and felt just as comfortable as the the last time! Grounds: The grounds of the W Bali are absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like the photos and even those don't do it justice. I enjoyed our daily strolls throughout! Food: The food options at the W Bali are outstanding. We loved the daily breakfast and the personal touches of the chef and other staff members walking around and interacting with the guests. We went to the Fire restaurant twice for dinner because of the great hospitality and how savory the food was. We ate breakfast almost every morning at the Starfish Bloo restaurant and we also did their brunch. We didn't think that brunch could get much better than breakfast, but were we ever wrong. If you have the chance to try the W brunch, please do. You meet in the lobby area for a welcome drink and are then escorted to your seat. The options don't end for brunch dishes. They even have food stations in the garden. The drink package is great too as it doesn't just include champagne/sparkling wine, they had other options included. Chef Norberto definitely has his A game going with how wonderful the food program is! We did choose to do the cocktail making class one evening and it was a highlight. Yogan was our cocktail teacher and he was so friendly and patient while showing us how to make the different, innovative cocktails. It was so fun! We spent as many sunset moments at the Woobar and highly recommend! It has stunning views and just as stunning and tasty cocktails! Staff: I don't know where to start or end with how friendly every staff member was! This is one of the few hotels I've encountered where you're always greeted with a smile and staff members are eager to interact with the guests! I absolutely loved every moment. Adi helped us a lot with many things at the hotel, from organizing the brunch reservation for us, to giving us info about the the different events and even helping us extend our stay (yes, we loved it so much, we extended our stay), he was always around to help and nothing was ever too much for him! Ayu was an outstanding villa host. She made sure we felt like home and even left surprises for us when we'd leave the villa! Our gratitude goes into infinity for her! She is a gem to the hotel! Yogan is a cocktail master and very knowledgeable in his craft. He was so friendly and it always felt like we were visiting an old friend when we would go to the Woobar! Dewa was the first staff member we met when we arrived at the hotel and he very friendly, always making sure we had a golf cart ride and that our bags were taken care of! Chef Norberto is amazing! He was always asking us about the food and how our stay was - he made us feel so welcome! Overall, we had the best stay at the W Bali! So much so, that we know we will once again choose it on future trips! Special thank you to all the staff members who we interacted with and helped us feel so welcome!

This is a highly rated luxury hotel and deserves all praise. We spent two nights in their 1 bedroom villa- a spacious room with a private pool, gazebo and grand bath area. The hotel itself is very well located in Semniyak with access to the beach. The staff is very friendly, hospitable and always looking to go the extra mile. We enjoyed a sundowner in their Woobar on a Sunday. Their terrace field levelled pool was a delight. We could walk across from the beachside to Potato Head (a highly rated beach club in Bali). The hotel has many restaurants and bars and beach clubs in its vicinity. We were leaving early for our flight and had requested for breakfast boxes to go. The hotel ensured a nice combination of sandwiches, fresh fruits and juices. Special mention for staff members Dharma, Satya and Teresa. They made our stay memorable.

Amazing from the moment, we turned onto the property! The staff is unbelievable from the front desk to the posters to the bartenders to the servers! 10 star hotel! We were given a beach view top floor! The room is spectacular The beds are amazing! The breakfast buffet in the morning is amazing! And you must try the coconut, mango, rum, smoothies, poolside! Life-changing!

My wife & I went for an anniversary getaway at Bali and we stayed at the W. The staff at W took the occasion exceptionally well. They truly listen to the guests and do their best to come up with a memorable experience for their guests. I would like to thank Duta in particular for his exceptional service from start to finish. He truly made our experience an unique one and we will definitely revisit W because of the all welcoming services we received from Duta and the rest of his team.
