Capella Bangkok

The hotel is strategically placed, gorgeous inside and out, but what really stands out is the people who work there. Any time you needed anything or even appeared you did someone would appear with friendly helpful assistance. Check in was accomplished in a living room setting over a glass of champaign, setting the stage for what was to come. We stayed there five nights and ate breakfast and the majority of our dinners there, and they were superb. I know I am leaving some people out but the people who went far above what was expected were, culturist, Nicky, house manager, Natt, restaurant manager, Waranyu Junseecha. Capella Bangkok truly deserves the ranking of being the #1 hotel in the world. Unfortunately, words can't convey what a world class experience we had here.

Capella Bangkok is an exceptional hotel that truly exceeds expectations. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, beautifully designed, and all come with stunning river views and private balconies. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the luxurious bedding to the well-thought-out workspace, makes for an unforgettable stay. Service is outstanding—warm, professional, and always attentive. The welcome experience is particularly special, with thoughtful touches that set the tone for a perfect stay. Dining options are excellent, with fantastic food quality and a great atmosphere, especially at the bar and all-day dining restaurant. Overall, Capella Bangkok offers a luxurious and tranquil retreat with impeccable service, top-tier amenities, and a truly relaxing vibe. Highly recommended!

We were excited to try this hotel. We booked with Amex hoping for the upgrade ! Even though they were available online we were not given one. Our room was very lovely but no balcony. Incredible bathroom and very well appointed. We were over looking the pool so had to keep blinds drawn. Breakfast service very poor and food surprisingly disappointing . The toast arrived after we had finished, even though we asked three times. The room service was good but not amazing and the most expensive of our trip. The pool was great , warm and quiet. The staff all very pleasant , but our butler no where to be seen the entire holiday. The lounge didn’t have a great atmosphere so we didn’t use it. What ruined our trip somewhat , was the advice from lounge and doorman that the airport was 1 hour away, normally less but as it was a Friday, an hour. We were advised to sit in lobby whilst a taxi to airport was organised. Teenty five minutes later I went to speed things up , only to discover they hadn’t been told we were waiting !!!!!!!! The trip took three hours and we missed our plane. If we had not been waiting that extra half an hour we would have made our plane so please don’t leave timings up to staff. The lounge doesn’t appear to have a manager which is a shame.

Beautiful place & decoration, Delicious food, Cozy environment, Great service & care. N’PLUG gives good introduction on each menu with warm hospitality. We also got a surprise “Anniversary” chocolate cake … so nice! Great experience here!

From their arrival to the bed linen. Uff everything is so posh and perfect. Truly a world class hotel property. They take care of everything.
