Superb hotel. Great location with shuttle service to nearby sky train which makes it easy to explore Bangkok. The service was exceptional with lots of attention to detail and the team in the executive lounge were fantastic. The executive king room was lovely, spacious enough, and the electric toilet is a great addition to the bathrooms. The pool is nice and there are sauna and steam room facilities which made it especially relaxing. We also loved the South African band playing in the main bar. A special shout out to Prikwan for making our anniversary a special occasion with balloons, a cake, and a hand made card. Cannot fault the entire team from concierge, housekeeping, food and beverage staff. This will now be our hotel when in Bangkok!

Our stay at the Conrad Bangkok was one for the books. It was an experience we will NEVER forget. We were treated like family from a very joyful and hospitable staff. They don't call Thailand the Land of Smiles for nothing. The Conrad Bangkok staff was nothing short of that notion. From the concierge, the hostess, housekeeping, and others, everyone was truly amazing. There was never an instance when staff did not kindly greet us when we walked past them. Of particular note, the hostess staff at the 2nd floor buffet, Amy, Joy, and Piem were always kind to us when we entered and really took care of us. In addition, one of the gentlemen that worked the concierge on the ground floor also assisted me when I needed help with retrieving my debit card when it was stuck inside an ATM at a nearby bank. He took the time to reassure me when we can get it and he helped translate to the bank staff for me. Moreover, the concierge helped us with suggestions for plans for the day and even assisted us with a late check-out because our flight was not until later that night. We can not thank the wonderful staff at Conrad Bangkok enough for their service that went above and beyond and kept our stay in Bangkok safe and provided for. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

They gave me an early birthday surprise which added to their exceptional service as a bonus. Amazing stay and amazing service. I have stayed in various Conrads around the world and this Conrad is just as exceptional but the nice little touch they gave made this stay a little more special. Thank you Conrad Team.

I’ve now completed my stay and can share a more balanced perspective. Overall, I can’t say this is a bad hotel—but it certainly didn’t meet my expectations for a property that positions itself as a 5-star establishment. Many processes here seem disorganized, and the level of service, especially on the executive floor, leaves much to be desired. Staff on the executive level were often indifferent—not greeting guests, rarely saying goodbye, and generally showing a lack of engagement. The lounge experience was quite underwhelming: the service felt impersonal, and the food offerings were mediocre at best. I visited the lounge at least once daily, but was never impressed. On the positive side, breakfasts were solid. They included all the basics you’d expect at a quality hotel—smoked salmon, good pastries like croissants, and a decent overall selection. The gym was also a strong point, well-equipped and suitable for longer stays. One older staff member at the fitness center stood out for his friendliness, though most others didn’t even smile, which was surprising, especially for Thailand. There were also some puzzling housekeeping issues: one day, all the bathrobes were taken and not replaced; another day, all the face towels were gone and I was inexplicably left with four pairs of slippers, despite staying alone. These inconsistencies didn’t cause major problems, but they do highlight a lack of attention to detail. The location is convenient, with shuttle service to the nearest BTS station. Beds are soft and pillows comfortable. However, the rooms are quite compact, which may be disappointing for guests who value spaciousness. I want to acknowledge the effort of the hotel manager, who genuinely tried to make my stay more comfortable. Thanks to that, I’ve adjusted my rating slightly upward. That said, I still hope the hotel will improve its service standards and refine the lounge experience—it wouldn’t take much to make a noticeable difference.
