Conrad Bangkok

I enjoyed Conrad Bangkok very much. For the reasonable price you pay, you get 5 star treatment. Nice rooms, very good executive lounge and beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub area. I appreciated big gym area, with plenty of machines and weights. I would perhaps prefer if the hotel was little bid closer to "downtown" attractions, but there were always taxis around, so no problem.

After a two-year absence, I returned to the Conrad Bangkok this month for a short stay. The hotel and its staff haven’t changed — they are still as good as ever. A special thank you and recognition goes to the breakfast team — Game, Vivian, Amy, Joy and Pream.

My 3rd time to stay in Conrad Bangkok and it always exceeded my expectations. From smooth checking in to checking out. My room was always tidy and clean. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom is very spacious. The staff every morning are very attentive. Game, Vivian, Amy, Joy and Pream, they would make sure aur table is not messy and would interact and asked if we are okay. I would love to comeback again.

We spent 5 nights at the hotel, a mare 4 months after our previous stay, so this makes it our 3rd stay. We checked in around 3PM and were allocated room 3127, an Executive twin room, which was a Diamond upgrade from the regular room we've booked. The room was rather large, with 2 beds, a sofa, a coffee table and armchair, a desk and chair, a tv, a mini bar, a Nespresso machine and a view to the city. As before, the room was not sound-proofed enough. Our welcome gift included a cake, macaroons, some fruit and a letter from the management. As we were celebrating our anniversary during our stay, housekeeping made a lovely 2 kissing swans sculpture from towels, surrounded by some rose petals. The bathroom was large with a bath tub, separate shower (with a good water pressure), a sink and a toilet with a nice built-in bidet. The hotel offers a large pool on the 7th floor as well as a huge jacuzzi. Both are open until 9PM. There's also a large 24/7 gym. Just next to the hotel, there's a nice little shopping mall called All Seasons Place, which offers some high-end shops, eateries and a great supermarket. I've written a separate review about it. Breakfast at Cafe@2 was disappointing, especially if you consider that even Hiltons in Bangkok offer a bigger and richer breakfast. I've written a separate review about it. This is, BY FAR, the hotel main weakness. In contrast to that, the Executive Lounge on the 29th floor was superb. Open from the morning until 10PM, it features an all day drinks and nibbles, scones and sandwiches for afternoon tea and a fantastic dinner buffet with cocktails. Bottom line - another great stay at this fine Conrad.
