Night Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The reason we picked the Night Hotel Bangkok. It had a good location on Sukhumvit 15. We would get easy access to both Nana and Asok skytrain stations. The hotel is also regarded as a good value for money option with a good chance of an upgrade at low season. It is locate in two buildings. One of them has a pool, the other has a restaurant. We had breakfast included. Check in was businesslike but I found the receptionist to be rather curt. There was no complimentary upgrade. We got what we paid for. The room was a decent size. The hotel has a white motif with its decor such as the white fake leather chair. We had a fridge, a good size tv, a kettle for tea and coffee. There was a USB port and a multi worldwide plug socket. Useful if you have forgotten a plug adaptor. There was complimentary water each day. The furniture showed some wear and tear as well as the bathroom. There were a lot of amenities in the bathroom, mouthwash, toothbrush. Even a razor but don't expect to get a close shave with it. We had no issues using the lift. We could walk to a shopping mall in a few minutes. You can use a complimentary tuk tuk to get you there. We had breakfast included. Normally in the far east, you cannot go wrong with breakfast at decent 4 and 5 stars hotels. The Night hotel was the exception. There was a small range of offerings but it was a disappointment. An omelette station but no potato accompaniment such as hash browns or similar for two of the days. I went for croissants which are kept in ac cover. When I opened the cover I thought to myself, I hope they taste better than they smell. They did not. I took one bite and that was it. I could not eat the croissants in this hotel or stomach the nasty pong. They seem to be made of cheap ingredients such as margarine. The hotel certainly needs to upgrade their breakfast, get their croissants from somewhere else. I was actually hungry after breakfast on my first morning and we later ate at a mall. We checked out the pool but we did not use it. We admired the views from the rooftop pool rather than go to another building with our swimming costumes. The Night hotel is good value for money. It is in a good location but with that breakfast, I would opt elsewhere the next time.

Standard well maintained. Cleanliness no. 1

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel, though I was put up at a different building across the road. Similar to my previous experience, the room was immaculate. This management must be really religious abt cleanliness. I'm not sure how old was this building but the room really looked as though it was newly renovated. The housekeeping was nicely done too, kudos to them. I requested for an extra towel through the receptionist & received 2 towels in 5mins. Will continue to support this hotel in the future.

Great customer service

Good location near BTS/MRT and Terminal 21. Rooms nice and clean. Great staff and welcoming. Staff even remembered it was my friends birthday and sang Happy Birthday. Shout out to Ken who made our stay memorable. Top service and will be back.

Convenient location with everything you need!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This hotel has everything that you need. The rooms are a good size, clean, and comfortable. The pool on the roof is big enough for a good dip. Breakfast was nice and a great way to start the day. I even used the spa in the hotel for a massage and was very pleased with my 90 minute massage, the price is on par with other spas of this quality in the area. The hotel is in a great area halfway between the Asoke and Nana BTS stations so super convenient, with lots of great places to eat and drink just a short walk away. Things to be aware of that might affect your stay. The soi that this hotel is located on gets a lot of traffic, you will have noisy tuk tuks and motorbikes going past the hotel at all hours of the night, I stayed on the 6th floor but could hear them just fine. If you are a light sleeper this might be an issue. Also the water in the shower would pulse with really hot water about every 30 seconds. I was happy to have hot water but the pulse was almost burning hot. Could be a local issue to my room. The value for the hotel was really good and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

A Great Hotel ...worth it just for the pillows and breakfast!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Yeah, I agree...they do have fabulous pillows! They are fab. Night which has relabelled itself from Dream is still a great hotel. Stayed there a few times over the past few years. The staff are great, especially the maids who are friendly and go out of their way to look after guests (so speaking Thai here helps). To be trueful, all the staff are friendly, always quick with a smile and a Thai hello: Sawasdii..."The rooms are clean and well furnished though showing their age in places. The highlight; besides the pillows, is the buffet breakfast. Loads of variety and great service. The location is also great. Sukhumvit can be a bit of a hell, so crowded especially at night. However, you are close to two BTS lines (raised Train) and the underground station. Night time is an experience (both negative and positive) along Sukhumvit with stalls selling a variety of wares and night life. Prices have ruising quite a bit sincxe last visit and rumours are that management wants to raise prices again! Hoping the rumour is not true but....competition is hot in the area.

The name of the hotel describes it perfectly. The staff is very friendly, the food is excellent, and the massage was one of the best I have experienced in Bangkok. I enjoyed my stay and will be going there again.
