The Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok is still the best hotel in the World. Its timeless elegance is enchanting. The accommodation is fantastic, the staff are all wonderful and really understand how to look after you. The food options and quality are amazing and the Bamboo Bar is the best place to spend an evening. Thank You so much for a wonderful stay.

I just might be the best hotel I ever stayed in. The facility, food, service, location is just perfect. From the river front buffet dinner, to the jazz bar, you never want to leave. And I did not even have time to try out the Michelin restaurant and all the facilities on the other side of the river. Just to clarify, I am not sponsoreret by the hotel.

Just back from another visit to this amazing hotel. I don't know how they do it but this hotel just gets better and better. From the moment we arrived it was just perfect. Staff as always incredibly professional and welcoming, room spotless and every need catered for. Breakfast and lunch on the terrace excellent. The food in Ciao as good as the best Italian restaurant in Italy and the Bamboo Bar full of the most interesting people and serving the best cocktails in Bangkok. The pool area is so well looked after by the most incredibly hard working and charming staff, highlight of the day is being served the delicious coconut ice cream at 4pm. It was my birthday during my visit, the staff gifted me bouquets of flowers, delicious cakes one at breakfast and one in my room and a beautiful present. I will definitely be coming back at the same time next year. Well done to everybody for making this hotel one of the best in the world and for me personally the best!!

Owner of a big travel agent and event agency from the Nordics. Travel the world and experienced a lot of 5 star hotels. To quote a Danish guest - «this is a time capsule. Once you’ve tried it you want to go back» Probably one of the best 5 star hotels in Asia. It is really something you shouldn’t miss. It should be on your bucket list if you love fantastic service, great food and that special atmosphere. It is an iconic hotel. Be sure to order the transportation with meet and greet. We considered The Pennisula, The Siam and some others, but the conclusion is clear. The mother ship of Mandarin Oriental group, is delivering still in 2025. You will have to try, to find out. Tip: Go right wing and not left for better river views.
