Located in the heart of one of Asia’s great metropolises, the Park Hyatt Bangkok can be found in one of the city’s most iconic buildings, drawing inspiration from local pagodas. The hotel offers a sophisticated feel with a calming presence to escape the frenetic pace of the Thai capital. The rooms are some of the largest in the city, and each is filled with minimalist décor.

You cannot go wrong staying at the Park Hyatt Bangkok. The physical space is beautiful; the service is exceptional; the food offerings are excellent; and the pool, gym, spa facilities are world class. If you visit the hotel, I recommend paying the incremental cost to upgrade to a suite. The rooms are already luxurious, but the suites offer a next level experience that is well worth the cost. Finally, the hotel location is very central, and guests benefit from being attached to the Central Embassy shopping mall. The mall offers everything from top tier luxury goods stores to barber facilities to groceries, making it convenient to visit in case you forget any necessary items or just want to browse.

I had high hope given the price and reviews in tripadvisor etc but was let down by the condition of the room. To my horror, there were toilet flies flying around the room and toilet, some were dead too. This was really ridiculous, I have stayed in so many hotels, this was the first time I got toilet flies in room and not to mention it’s a 5-stars hotel. ‘No Smoking’ card and TV remote control were under the bed. The room was dusty too. Although room is spacious but there were two SINGLE size beds. I was never given single size beds in other 5-stars hotel in Bangkok . St. Regis and Siam Kempinski offer 2 super single beds and Four Seasons 2 queen size beds. Just a short while after informing the front desk regarding the toilet flies. Assistant Front Office Manager, Ms Sureerat Pomhin, was quick to apologise and offer a replacement room. This new room was much better, just with a minor issue with missing hair drying. Breakfast was great with many options. At least good service from Ms Sureerat Pomhin and nice breakfast. I hope Park Hyatt tries to maintain its standard for the benefit of the guests. And not to try to pass on the problematic rooms to unassuming guests. Can’t post photos as I took only videos so as to show the front desk the FLYING toilet flies.

Fantastic location - the hotel is connected to two exclusive malls with no crowds. Many good food options within the two malls. The service at the hotel is truly exceptional. The breakfast food is so-so but I don't think you go to Bangkok to eat at a hotel lounge :)

Getting expensive to stay at Park Hyatt. Sadly, the hotel is showing its age. Some rooms are not in their best conditions - dusty table, remote control hidden under the bed, missing hair dryer and showing signs of general wear and tear. Newer hotels provide better experiences in general. Only the staff and the breakfast exceed expectations

It’s been my fourth time at the Park Hyatt Bangkok, and it has not disappointed me on any occasion. Conveniently located between two BTS stops and connected to Central Embassy, the hotel delivers on location. And of course, all of the rooms are spacious and luxurious. All of my interactions with staff were also wonderful! I will definitely stay again next time I am in Bangkok.
