Wonderful time
Fabulous stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were treated to a room upgrade, complementary fruit & cheese platter and a bottle of red wine upon arrival. Room had a river view, large deck with multiple outdoor seating options overlooking the pool. On our last night we had fresh coconut drink left for us in our room too.

Very enjoyable stay
A superb hotel with delightful terrace on the edge of the busy river where you can enjoy a drink or a meal, or even just the view and a swim in the pool. Very comfortable and spacious room with all facilities. Food and service very good with such charming staff.

Excellent location & comfortable hotel
We stayed at the Riva Surya hotel in Bangkok which is perfectly placed to visit Chinatown, Khao San road or some of the more famous temples etc. It is right on the banks of the Chao Phraya river. The rooms were spacious and well equipped and the staff very helpful. The restaurant is outside right next to the river too and they serve a very good breakfast. Watching the river traffic with your coffee is a great way to start the day. I would recommend the hotel and had no gripes about it.

Fantastic hotel!
This was a fantastic hotel right by the Grand Palace. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area. Hotel staff was very helpful with any questions, and the hotel restaurant was actually very good! Hotel room was very clean and updated, and had a great view of the river. Highly recommend!

Wonderful choice
We had a wonderful experience: the beds & linens lead to wonderful sleep; our room had a delightful deck overlooking the pool & river; the pool was very refreshing after a day of sightseeing; the bar & breakfast area were comfortable & had a great view of the river; the location near Khaosan Market & a water taxi pier were ideal. I highly recommend the hotel. A tip if traveling from the U.S.: the outlets accept US plugs, no need to pack an adapter.
