Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit

When I checked in at the front desk, my experience was a bit challenging. I dropped off my baggage first and received my key around 3 pm, but the second staff member didn't provide much information about the check-in process, which left me feeling a little disappointed. However, when I visited the club later, I had a wonderful experience! Sindy and Khao were incredibly helpful and friendly, taking the time to explain everything to me and even recommending some great restaurants. As a platinum member, I truly felt welcomed by Sofitel, and I appreciate the warm service I received at the club.

This is my second stay with Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit (the first was around Oct 2023 during their major renovation). This is a 4 night stay. The services has deteriorated comparing to my last stay. I have arrived at the hotel around 3pm. As an ALL Diamond member, I have the opportunity to check in at the Club Millesime. Upon check in, my room is still not yet ready and I have been ushered to have afternoon tea while waiting for my room to be ready. The facilities and menu is impressive at the club lounge. At 1555, I finally get to the room. My room has been upgraded to the next level (I booked Luxury room and been upgraded to Luxury room). The upgrades is the same category room BUT with higher floors (this is either a scam or not honest upgrades for members in my opinion). The room was comfortable with amenities (strong water pressure with adjustable temperature, bathtub, sofa Chair etc). As ALL diamond member in Sofitel, the welcome amenities is just a plate of fruits (an apple, orange, pear and banana) without a welcome card or letter. I can say, staying in a lower level hotel such as Pullman or Mercure hotels, you get a better treatment as ALL diamond member. This is ridiculous treatment from a 5 stars hotel such as Sofitel. Breakfast is average with limited choices of selection. However, the restaurant staffs is attentive, and friendly. Welcome drink at the roof top bar was amazing but felt strange. The bar staffs is friendly but can be pushy. I felt that I have to drink my welcome drink and leave immediately as the vibes I felt was they are rushing you to quickly finish your drink and leave immediately. Check out process was smooth. However, when I requested for the invoices to be printed, the front desk officer has mentioned that they are going sustainability and my invoice will be emailed to me after I check out from the hotel. Fair enough so I waited and waited for 2 weeks and yet still no invoice been emailed to me. I then have to email the hotel to request for the e- invoice of my stay. Overall, my experience staying at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit was an average ones. I would rather stay at SO/ Bangkok as their services is more impeccable and genuine.

I came here for my birthday with 2 families and as a accor member the club milesseme staff "GIFT" and "CINDY" has been absolutely fabulous in their service and friendly and hospitality towards us. This is already our 2nd time in 6 months and will come back again soon.

Fantastic stay, top notch services from what I can say and experience it. Room and bed was comfortable, and view was good from the room. In the lounge for afternoon tea and evening cocktails was awesome and delicious food serving. Thank you for frontdesk, the man at lounge who prepare my check-in (sorry forgot the name my bad) and Sindy who help use feel welcome here because this is first time for me and my sister came to Thailand. Will come back again later when visiting Thailand.
