Exceptional hotel, very clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great location for shopping, restaurants, bars, Thai massages etc close to couple of BTS stations too. I am a frequent traveller to Bangkok and stay at Sofitel whenever rooms are available. Ms. Pat at the reception and Ms. Natty at the concierge were exceptional.

Love the stay here. Great location, and ith direct access to BTS and MRT stations via the skywalk from the hotel and definitely great service. Special shout out to Tony, the concierge who gave us a great recommendation for dinner by the Chao Phraya River. He also helped us to call for a taxi despite tte heavy traffic. Surely a place with great hospitality.

This is the best Accor Hotel in Bangkok in my opinion. Staff is really attentive in details and willing to take comments from customers. We had great experience at the Club Millésime. Khun Khao, Khun Macky and every other staffs took very good care of us with overwhelmingly beyond our expectations. Breakfast at Bella Sella is full of quality, variety, tasty and most important is the services. Also thanks to Khun Jeab, who concerns about every details around the restaurant. We are really happy with the property, especially the services provided which made our stay unforgettable.

Pros: Sofitel sukhumvit 13 is a conveniently located hotel with a beautiful front entrance with a flower display. I got a birthday cake on arrival in the room which was really nice, thank you🙂 The hotel is well maintained and clean enough. The rooms are well presented. The cleaning staff were generally good with cleaning. I left little notes for them for things that needed to be done which they did, thank you for that. Basically all the essential services are located at the doorsteps like money exchange dee money who give the best rates in the area, seven eleven, millions of restaurants/ eating places, mall - terminal 21, pharmacies, BTS trains, underground trams. The staff are exceptional always ready to assist with directions, getting a taxi, recommending places to visit while in Bangkok, making tour bookings and generally very friendly. Special mention to Natty, Pete, Boy, Tony, Tui, Tee, Tow, Tum, Kevin, Palm. Sorry if I have not written the names correctly. The reception staff that helped my cousin and I with the wifi thank you as well 🙂 The breakfast staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The ginger tea was excellent helped when I was feeling sick. I also was able to custom order eggs with no lactose which was a hit and miss. Cons: The bathroom especially the shower area needs to be cleaned so you don’t see any mould and the grout patchwork needs to be redone. For a 5 star hotel perfection should be maintained. On the first day I had to call room service for the body wash to be refilled. I have to request for toilet paper a few times during my stay. The hair on the floor in the toilet area seemed to stay there for the whole stay not sure if the toilet area gets vacuumed as well. There is limited gluten free and lactose free options in the buffet breakfast. I usually don’t have curry in the mornings but I didn’t have much options to choose from. The gluten free bread does not taste nice. The gluten free pancake was too dense. The gluten free muffin/cake is ok but I was not sure if it had butter in it. Eggs were made to order but not that great. The fruits were only other options I could have. I was disappointed that there was no ripe mangoes or mango sticky rice on the menu. There was lots of mangoes being sold on the streets so mangoes were in season. The taxi from the hotel weren’t given clear instructions on where we wanted to go and asked me for directions. I have to turned my mobile roaming on to access google maps so the driver could use google maps to take me to my destination. On one occasion I told the driver I didn’t have internet then he turned on his google maps and dropped us 2 streets away of where we wanted to go because there was traffic but still charged the same amount. Please make sure to write the address of the hotel and the destination you want to go to so you can show the driver otherwise you will dropped off at the wrong place. Overall: I would recommend Sofitel but next time I would split up my time between the other luxury hotels on the same street like Westin and Hyatt just for the experience.
