The Sukhothai Bangkok

This is a hidden gem of a hotel on the quieter side of Bangkok, but still within an easy taxi ride to all the main attractions. The ambience, the staff and the attention to detail are all beautiful, considerate and delightful. Special mention to TeTae the mixologist (magician) of a bar man making the most amazing cocktails and the bar staff Ing-Fha. Just wonderful, we can’t remember a night we’ve sat at a bar and enjoyed it so much, watching them work making drinks and their overall knowledge was fantastic .

I always choose The Sukhothai for special occasions for so many yearsBeen here so many times and finally decided to be a part of the membership program. Loveliest services, fantastic food, and sweets always brought me back! Never disappointed, my favorite place for buffets and sweets of all time :)

I like the overall service in this hotel. Especially, there was an emergency situation to our family yesterday, so I visited to concierge to solve it and he did it. I can’t remember his name but thanks to him! Also, I got a complimentary massage for 5 minutes when I was in the pool and it was great. Thanks for Saw and Now!

Architecture and interior design is classic and beautiful, and the whole staff was so kind and sweet. The breakfast is very high quality too. The swimming pool is also very beaufitul and spacious and not crowded at all, but there were some impurities in the water, so my only suggestion for improvement would be to clean the water more often.

The hotel has a well-deserved reputation as a higher end accommodation in Bangkok. The staff is very friendly, helpful and always available. The room was comfortable and quiet, facing the inner courtyard. The full-size pool was among the better hotel pools I have seen and perfect for a morning swim - or afternoon lounge with food and drinks. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary in quality and variety of the offerings, local, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Western... a single visit is not enough to even sample all. The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants, Lumphini Park and the subway system.
