It’s afterhours, you’re sipping a cocktail, and a Roman mosaic from the second century is begging closer study – Claris Hotel makes a museum experience available 24 hours a day, thanks to an expansive art collection that ranges from Victorian furniture to Turkish kilims to etchings by modern Catalan painter Josep Guinovart. The ground floor museum showcases pieces from Jordi Clos Archaeological Foundation’s private collection, while Napoleon leaves his mark with several drawings he commissioned. Another way this hotel channels a museum: Peace and quiet pervades the hallways, which guarantees a good night’s sleep.

Room flooded and no support from the hotel, no real gym or sauna. very basic hotel. Expensive and they do not allow you to book a room for 3 people until after the booking where they charge high fees Breakfast was good.

We had a really nice time at this hotel. The front desk and concierge were super helpful and everything was taken care of. Everything was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and the artefacts around the hotel gave it extra character. The room was large and comfy and had everything we needed. A minibar with drinks all included in the rate, turndown service, chocolates, toiletries, etc. We had a bathtub, with pristine towels and bathrobes/slippers. Bed was comfy with several choices for pillows. We ordered room service on the first night which was tasty, and lots to choose from. We stayed during winter so we didn't use the pool, but we had dinner at the terrace, which was lovely. The hotel also gave an offer on the spa, but we didn't use it. The location is superb, walking distance to La Pedrera and Sagrada Familia. Lots of restaurants nearby, we had brunch at the Melrose Cafe and Berry Brunch which we recommend. The only downside here was the really expensive hotel breakfast at 36 euros each, which we decided to not go for.

The Claris, staff was incredible, rooms were nice, spacious and clean, breakfast had great options, the art around the property is beautiful the proprietor of the hotel owns a museum across the street and all guests are offered a free ticket! The rooftop bar and restaurant is charming! We will be back to this property when visiting Barcelona

We had a wonderful 5 nights at the Hotel Claris in Barcelona and enjoyed every minute of it...The staff went out of their way to tend to our every need. The service they showed far surpassed the service I have experienced at many five-star hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel!
