The staff were mostly nice and location is good. But that’s about it. Not a 5 star hotel or experience by any standards. The Junior suite we stayed at was very dark, with only one small window in one room. The other room was without windows. The suite was tiny, beds and pillows uncomfortable. Also the design was not to my liking. The cupboards were of no use. Bathroom not practical as well. The breakfast was miserable, and sooo overpriced. For 5 days not a single item got changed. The offered choices were minimal and tiny. Overpriced for nothing in return. If you are used to or expecting luxury, or at least a decent 5 star hotel, you will not find it here.

The service and quality of this hotel is second to none. From the Service helping us out of our cab, getting our bags, and the front desk, it was spectacular. The room is lovely and elegant and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious, and the terrace bar on the upstairs level had wonderful wines and cocktails, and small plates to share. What a great experience.

This was a perfect stay! From housekeeping to front desk to breakfast staff - I could not have asked for a nicer group of people- Bravo! And I can’t wait to return!

As a gold member I was disappointed with the front desk. Upon check in I had asked for my complimentary room upgrade but was told nothing was available. When we got to our room we realized we weren't given the twin beds requested and had to switch rooms. Somehow they found an upgrade when they realized their error. It was clear they weren’t honest from the beginning. The next day I asked if we can have breakfast to go when we check out since we have a very early flight and the same front desk attendant said yes no problem. It was not ready when we left and was told there was no record of my request. This front desk attendant was not up to par for a hotel of this standard. Other then that, the hotel was great.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at the Hotel Claris in Barcelona and enjoyed every minute of it...The staff went out of their way to tend to our every need. The service they showed far surpassed the service I have experienced at many five-star hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel!
