With its exceptional architecture reminiscent of the bridge of a large ship, Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel is one of Barcelona(TM)s most compelling monuments. This welcoming retreat sits in the World Trade Center leisure and business complex in the heart of Port Vell, with superb views of the sea. A significant art collection is displayed throughout, adding an avant-garde flair to the lively Spanish ambience. You can laze at the outdoor pool and gaze over the city or savor Mediterranean flavors at Sea Breeze.

I made the mistake to stay at this hotel. I traveled alone & I took the top suite for 4 nights for $1500. The coffee machine and the safe did not work. The balcony sliders did not lock. Some make up and a high end hair accessory disappeared. The cleaning staff subpar. I had to stay another night for an event. I advised the reception the evening prior. As I was getting dressed I heard a man in my room. He did not knock, entered my room while I was half dressed. I advised reception immediately. I was upset & felt completely violated. They offered me 20% off my last night which equated to $50. And offered to waive room service of $40 and my minibar charges $60. And sent me four chocolate strawberries. To them this was enough for the huge violation of my privacy being half dressed as a male employee entered my room without my permission. I did send an email to corporate to seek a better solution. To no avail. Avoid this hotel at all costs. You are not safe in your room. I hope this helps you from avoiding an awful experience.

Really nice hotel in a perfect area near the cruise terminal, convention Center and Maremagnum mall. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast expansive and fresh. But the best thing about the hotel,is the staff. Every staff member went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and efficient. For example, we told the front desk person that the heating wasn’t working properly. Next thing we know the front desk guy was at our room together with the maintenance person to make sure it was fixed correctly. That is good service! I’d recommend this hotel, especially pre or post cruise.

While the hotel is outdated and in need of a modern touch, the location is very good (5 minutes walking distance to the Rambla) and the rooms are quite comfortable even if there are some things lacking. The thermostat could not be controlled to a higher temperature and one of the windows did not close completely. I did not inform the reception since I was on a business trip and only spent a short amount of time in the room. The food in the hotel's bistro was good but overpriced. The breakfast is very good, probably the best thing about the hotel along with the location. The communication with the reception/reservations team was difficult when trying to discuss the payment of the breakfast and city tax. Even if it is more a business hotel than one for leisure stays, the communication is not as efficient as you would expect.

The hotel cancelled our room two weeks before our visit! I booked ten months ago. No reason given other than a “ over booked” ! Absolutely terrible, said they were not accepting booking from individuals. Offered an alternative which was far away from the port, why do we not matter to these corporate entities?
