H10 Casanova

We arrived quite late anf the first room we were given had a very heavy smell of smoke, but I called reception and we were moved to another straightaway. This room had a very small balcony with a city view, it was quite compact with no soundproofing whatsoever from bathroom or the hallway. The bed was comfortable, and the complimentary waters were a nice touch. Reception staff were all great, as were the bar staff. We took our drinks to the the rooftop on the final evening and it was a lovely experience with clear skies. Would potentially stay again in a different room.

We recently stayed here pre and post cruise. This is a great hotel which is well situated. Rooms are clean and comfortable with good amenities. Our first room didn’t have a kettle which was a bit disappointing. We hadn’t pre-booked breakfast but paid 20€ each which felt rather expensive but there was a decent range of options. On our return trip we ate at a local cafe which was excellent value. We arrived v early on our return trip and were tired following a lack of sleep. Patrick on reception was so helpful in finding us a room that was immediately available and we were able to sleep! Hotel staff in the bar and restaurant were friendly and the range of food was good and not too expensive. We had some special touches as members of the loyalty club including drinks, chocolates and mints which were much appreciated. We would return here next time we visit!

We had a very pleasant stay at H10 Casanova. The whole staff was very friendly and courteous. Cleanliness and a good breakfast should be also mentioned. The hotel is close to most of the sights which you can reach after a 10-20 min walk. We would prefer this hotel again when visiting Barcelona.

Recently returned from this hotel stay just before Christmas for my son's 10 th birthday. Was really excited to visit this hotel after reading all the positive reviews. The hotel is in a good location, near shops and bars and the main shopping area. On arrival we were a bit disappointed that we wasn't offered a welcome drink. I had informed the hotel that it was my son's birthday and they offered to do a little surprise for him in the room, however after requesting this more than once this was not carried out as promised. The rooms are very modern and clean with decent amenities. Breakfast was a little disappointing, not much choice.

The hotel was lovely and clean. Comfortable bed and pleasant surroundings. My gripe was with the rooms, I had to swap rooms as it was too small and the centrally controlled air was set to heating. It was blasting warm air and no option to cool down. There was a ceiling fan but in the first room, it simply didn’t work. I moved and it addressed both my issues. Would I go back, yes probably but equally I wouldn’t say when I do return to Barcelona this has to be my spot to stay.
