I have stayed in quite a few of the H10 Hotels and the experience can be very varied. Some good, some not so good. This is one of the ‘not so good’. I was literally at this hotel for just over 16 hours. On check-in, they offered me a voucher for a cocktail as I am part of the ‘H10 Club’. The voucher is only valid for a cocktail before 6pm. As I was checking in at around 5.30pm, this was a pretty useless gesture. Surely the company can afford to give club members a cocktail after 6pm. Utterly ridiculous and totally counterproductive. The second issue I had was the Wi-Fi. It is very inconsistent. Keeps dropping in and out. Not ideal. The third issue was the breakfast. The choice of ‘hot’ food is pretty poor and, what’s more, the scrambled eggs and the beans were both cold. As was the ‘hot’ milk from the machine for my hot chocolate. On check-out, the reception staff seemed totally disinterested. In fact, when I explained the above issues, he responded ‘is that all?’!! This is a H10 hotel I definitely wouldn’t return to.

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent position to explore. The reception staff were excellent, welcoming, friendly and attentive. Our room was lovely & spacious , so much so we wished we had stayed longer. I am an H10 Club member and we really appreciated the extra little gifts etc that we got, it was a lovely touch, the chocolates were delicious. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Barcelona.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are excellent and the location is great. The rooms have all that we need. There was one problem, the food served in the restaurant, not the breakfast section, was terrible. We stayed there for a week and after a day of non/stop walking and climbing through the wonderful city, it is nice to come “home” to a comfortable place and have a bite. I will not get into the details, but to just to say, the menu looked good, the ingredients were good but they need a chef to supervise. Sorry because we love the place.

We had a fabulous 4 night stay - hotel is ideally situated close to the metro, bus stop and aerobus stop. It is approx 50mins gentle stroll to the beach and gothic area. The hotel is immaculate and the staff very helpful. Great rooftop area to chill out in the sun with a drink if you want to rest your feet after walking around all day! We also went to watch Barcelona v Bayern Munich whilst there - the reception were helpful in printing our tickets out and the hotel was only 45mins walk to the stadium so no need to take public transport. The room was large and easily accommodated the huge kingsize bed and sofa bed. There were 3 different types of pillows so no excuse for not getting a good nights sleep. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and/or recommend to others.
