We were greeted by the most generous staff. At all times we were vetted with friendly smiles and had amazing conversations with all employees. The food at the restaurants was amazing and the drinks were the best I ever had. Everything was made with a special desire to make it great- even the ice was specially large for cocktails and crushed for the best mojito I ever had. Definitely recommend this place to stay.

I went to the spa and I met Natalia who was very patient and knowledgeable about the treatments. She very patiently answered all my questions and seemed to know the services very well. The spa is very relaxing and the rooms are clean, calming. There was soothing music. Very serene. Thank you!

Stayed in the hotel for one week. Had a conference there but brought my wife and son (under two) to enjoy some extra days. The staff was exceptional. Everyone was brilliant; check-in, housekeeping, babysitter, bar,…. They could not be any kinder to our son. Every day the staff would make sure he was ok. They would give him balloons at breakfast, toys to play with at the bar, and a little backpack to carry everything. He absolutely loved it! Breakfast was excellent, one of the best I’ve had in hotels. The rooms were very spacious and modern. In regards to the conference, we started off with some meetings in their private rooms at the top floor and then had a conference downstairs. All was very well managed. We are looking to organise our event there again next year given the great experience, and on a personal level, l would definitely go back. Highly recommended for both business and pleasure.

We absolutely loved the Hotel Arts. Renovations are ongoing, but the interior that we saw was modern and beautiful. Our room was fantastic, with a nice view of the beach and the center city in the distance. The cool automatic blinds made the room dark for a great sleep. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage for a longer stay. The huge bathroom was lovely, with an excellent shower, a sweet bathtub and dual sinks. That’s the beauty part. The personality part was the most extraordinary staff. As we exited our taxi, the valet staff greeted us and helped with our luggage. Sara M at reception could not have given us a more wonderful welcome. She explained everything we needed to know and answered our questions easily. The wait staff at P41 Bar was perfect, and the bartender was knowledgeable and personable. Every member of staff we met was superb, befitting the Ritz Carlton hotels. The location for us was perfect. Away from the noise and activity of the center of town, it was an oasis of calm. There is a shuttle which goes to Plaça Catalunya twice a day, and taxis are always available. We took the shuttle but walked back and it was probably 45 minutes from La Sagrada Familia with lots of restaurants on the way if you wanted to stop. We liked being away from the town center and think it’s a good way to visit Barcelona. Overall, we were delighted we decided to stay at Hotel Arts and would stay again if in Barcelona. Highly recommended.

Our family of four—two adults and two young children (ages seven and three)—spent an unforgettable New Year at Hotel Arts Barcelona, and we couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we booked, the communication was exceptional. The hotel reached out well in advance to coordinate our airport pickup and ensure that any needs we had would be met upon arrival. This level of attentiveness gave us a great first impression before we even stepped through the doors. Originally, we had booked a club-level stay, but due to renovations, the club lounge was closed. Instead, we were upgraded to a penthouse, and what an upgrade it was! The penthouse was a true sanctuary—spacious, luxurious, and offering breathtaking views of the city and the Mediterranean. As a family that enjoys five-star hotels but sometimes finds them less child-friendly, we were thrilled that Hotel Arts Barcelona welcomed children with open arms. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that both our kids felt special throughout the stay. While not in the very heart of the city, the hotel’s location at Port Olímpic was perfect for us. It offered a peaceful retreat away from the city’s hustle and bustle, yet was still well-connected. The beach was right there—lively even in December—and there were plenty of nearby amenities, including a mini-market and an ice cream shop. Taxis were always available, and the hop-on-hop-off bus stop right outside made sightseeing easy. Walking into the city was doable but a bit long with young kids (about 30 minutes). From check-in to check-out, the service was flawless. Staff members went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and no request was too much trouble. Little thoughtful gestures—like treats left in our room, personalized notes, and even a sweet surprise from the ‘Tooth Fairy’ when our son lost a tooth—set this hotel apart from even the best five-star experiences we’ve had, including in Dubai. The two-floor penthouse was a dream. With two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an elegant living and dining area, we had plenty of room to relax. After a busy day exploring, it was the perfect place to unwind. Room service was excellent—especially on New Year’s Eve, when we enjoyed a quiet family dinner with a bottle of wine from our in-room collection. One of the highlights of our stay was The Pantry, a hidden gem within the hotel. The food was exceptional, the menu carefully curated, and the pricing very reasonable for the quality of both the cuisine and service. My husband and son enjoyed it so much that they ate there six nights out of seven! The only night we didn’t was New Year’s Eve, when we opted for room service. The breakfast selection was one of the best we’ve had. From freshly squeezed vegetable juices to an extensive variety of options catering to all tastes, it was inclusive and beautifully presented. Most importantly, the staff made our children feel truly welcome, always engaging with them and making the experience even more enjoyable. Hotel Arts Barcelona exceeded our expectations in every way. The service, location, food, and attention to detail made it one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We truly felt at home, and the way the staff cared for our children made all the difference. We will absolutely be returning, and we can’t thank the hotel team enough for making our Christmas and New Year so special.
