Iconic design, incredible culinary experiences and the sparkling Mediterranean are what draw visitors to Barcelona, Spain. These elements are also what attract luxury travelers to Hotel Arts Barcelona. A part of The Ritz-Carlton Hotels group, this 5-star hotel is a striking tower of blue glass and steel with beautifully designed rooms, a two Michelin-star restaurant and spaces, including a rooftop spa and two outdoor pools, that overlook the sea.

This is a lovely hotel. Not necessarily from the outside, but a real haven when inside! The service is excellent and nothing is too much for the solicitous and charming staff. The breakfast is excellent as is the food generally. Beautiful views and a good pool area with views over the sea. Rooms are a little dated and are currently undergoing renovation, but that does not detract from the experience. It will be even better after the renovations. A great hotel from which to experience Barcelona!

Ritz Carton canceled our reservations a week before we our arrival, leaving us stranded and completely ruining our vacation. They had some electrical problem. We booked two rooms, months earlier to obtain a decent price from this expensive property and therefore, upon trying to find comparable property at such short notice, we ended up paying thousands more. Upon asking for remediation, we were given the middle finger! If there is anything that needs to be regulated, it definitely is this. The airlines pay up when they do this to you. What makes you think you're exempt and why do you call yourself "The Ritz". This definitely isn't a 5-STAR hotel but a low class hotel that hides behind their fine prints!

Enjoyed a pool pass on two consecutive days. €90 each day. The food was lovely and the surroundings and view spectacular. Enjoyed my stay, which I found very relaxing, so much so that I booked again the next day (minus my husband who likes being more active!) The only small criticism was the music which was repetitive and on a loop, and the drinks were very pricey. But, the staff, with special mention to Julian and Daniella at the beach bar, were very attentive and friendly, and clearly work hard to make sure everyone is happy and have their needs met. If you get the chance, don’t hesitate to book a day pool pass.

Listen up, tech heads! This place is living in 3023 while the rest are stuck in 2023. Smart rooms? Check. Lightning-fast Wi-Fi? Double-check. The whole place is more connected than my LinkedIn profile! But it's not just about the tech - the human touch is still there, with staff who actually understand what customer service means (shocking, I know). Only bug in the system? The stay was too short. Time for a system upgrade, I'd say!

We were some of the lucky ones to have stayed at Hotel Arts just recently. To begin with, we were upgraded to one of their one-of-a-kind penthouse suites which worked out perfectly for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). The suite was spacious, luxurious, and with spectacular views. We enjoyed everyone moment spent at Hotel Arts, from the moment we arrived, to the time we checked out. The Ladies and Gentlemen were exemplary; cheerful and will go the extra 100 miles to make sure your needs are met. They do it with pleasure. The hotel itself was quiet (which is a plus for us) as they were renovating all of their rooms, including the club lounge (which was part of our reservation). Breakfast buffet at Lokal had plenty of delicious options and the service there was great. The pool was just perfect; the weather was fantastic, and the pool is quiet as there weren't too many people. Food at Marina Coastal was delicious, we had food/drinks by the pool every day. Service around the pool was exquisite, friendly and quick. Shout out to Valentina, Yuri, and Till. They were there every day we were there, always smiling and serving with pleasure. What makes this hotel standout is the people that work there. Everyone from bellmen, front desk, penthouse concierge, housekeeping, to restaurant staff. If you're in Barcelona and appreciate luxury service, you have to stay at Hotel Arts. We will definitely be back.
