Wake to a beautiful day on your first morning, and enjoy a fabulous breakfast at Contraste Restaurant or at iQ smart fresh food, with a menu carefully designed by a nutritionist. Venture out for the day to discover this amazing city, and start with a stroll down the famed La Rambla. Enjoy fantastic and eclectic shopping, vibrant street performances, and delightful cafés where you can sit, relax and people watch. Make your way to La Sagrada Familia, a magnificent temple designed by Anton Gaudi and begun in 1881, where you can marvel at its massive structure, which is still being constructed today. In the afternoon stop in at a lovely café for a true taste of Barcelona and enjoy fabulous fresh seafood and pintxos, the delightful tapas-styled local snacks. Take the rest of the afternoon to relax with a sail along the Mediterranean coast, or be moved by an astounding performance at the Gran Teatre del Liceu or L'Auditori. That night, return to the hotel for a well-deserved massage at AQUA Diagonal Spa, then enjoy a fun-filled dinner in the hotel's very own German Biergarten. We had among the most luxurious rooms imaginable!! Comfortable beds, big bathroom and great views. The staff were especially friendly, helpful and generous with their time. The Grand Club lounge was a quiet place to sneak away and relax, and restaurant offered a variety of Catalon specialties. You will be delighted!

The hotel is located on a lovely large commercial boulevard outside of downtown Barcelona with high end and other shopping malls close by. There is easy access to subway and bus, and cabs are plentiful. We booked a junior suite and our adult son had a deluxe room. Though our junior suite was quite large it is not what I would expect of a suite. The room had a small hallway entrance with bench which acted as a luggage rack since there was not one in the room and hotel could not supply one. There was a desk, a mini bar cabinet, A small chaise for one and a king sized bed. There was lots of space to have put a seating area which I would expect for a suite. The bed was comfortable and there are lots of plugs and electronic access but the room is dark when the sun goes down. They brought us an extra light to help out. The bathroom is very large and lovely with a large closet and lots of shelves. There are two sinks and a makeup table. There is a large bathtub and separate large stand alone shower with great spray and pressure. There is a separate toilet area, no bidet, but motion lights if you get up to use toilet at night. The room and hotel are very nicely maintained. Our club access provided a very nice extensive breakfast buffet in the main breakfast area, Sophia, and tasty tapas in the same area in the late afternoon. The hotel is a 15 minute ride to the airport during the late morning. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel has a retro modern feel with lots of mirror and chrome. It was quiet. It certainly had a business hotel feel. We were happy not to be in the very downtown heart of the city which was quite busy and overflowing when we were there, but missed not being able to walk to restaurants though we did walk to shopping centers. I would recommend this hotel.

Best breakfast buffet I ever had! The food and ambiance were amazing. I was there for a work trip and given the reasonable price I did not expect much but my expectations were blown away. Everything was very high end and the food was spectacular. Coffee was also great!

Unfortunately, I made a very bad experience with the Spa at the Hotel. My sister and I had booked a massage. When we arrived, we wanted to pay for it, but when I paid with my Apple Pay, the receptionist told me that the payment didn't go through. I showed her my phone and the confirmation that it was paid, but she insisted that it hadn't worked. So, I sent the money to my sister's account, and she paid for the both of our massages. The next day, I checked again in my banking app and saw that the payment had indeed been processed. So, I had paid for the massage twice (via my Apple Pay and my sister's account). I called the Hotel to explain the situation, and they told me to send an e-mail. After 2 days, I still hadn't got a response, so I decided to involve my bank and request the money back (providing screenshots of the transactions as well). They have been on the case for a month now, and today I learnt that the Hotel contested the case. While there is still a chance that I'll get my money back after paying for the massage twice, I am extremely disappointed how this case is being handled by them. Ultimately, the receptionist made a mistake, charging me twice for the massage, I can prove it, and it should be easy for them to see this in their system. I would never go to this hotel again, which is unfortunate, because the massage and Spa area was great.

This hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff are the friendliest and most efficient. The check in was fast and helpful. The concierge was extremely helpful with directions and information. The suite we stayed in was extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and it had everything you could think of. I had poached eggs made to order. There’s a metro station a few minutes walk away and it’s easy to make your way to Barcelona centre.
