Unfortunately I became very ill in Barcelona. The team at this hotel went above and beyond to assist me. Their concern and care was like none I had ever experienced. I am forever grateful for them!! Specifically Gema and Marc in concierge, and Elber who worked the front door. Thank you for being so incredible kind, thoughtful and generous!!

Lovely hotel (apart from the Halloween themed night, ugh). However excellent staff, super service and good breakfast (scrambled egg often cold even though it’s straight out of the kitchen). Sumptuous and stylish spaces. Would come again, location is away from central buzz. View of the National art gallery from our window 👍.

Stayed two nights whilst away for a conference. A twenty minute / 25 euro taxi from the airport, in a nice area within walking distance to the palace, the bull ring etc. The hotel is immaculately clean, modern, and spacious from the moment you walk in the door, through to the lobby and bar area. Staff were friendly and check in and out were seamless. The room itself was lovely. Very big, spotlessly clean and modern but one of the comfiest hotel beds I've stayed in. I did sample the breakfast or restaurant but was there for a conference and the food was very good. The 7th floor is definitely worth a visit, either for a swim or a drink on the terrace with brilliant views across the city.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are large by European standards and very comfortable, with updated bathrooms. We were upgraded to a suite, which unfortunately did not have a view but was spacious and attractive. Other than lacking English language channels, the room had everything we needed. As others have commented, the hotel is not in the heart of the tourist attractions but walkable to those attractions or a short metro ride away (and the Barcelona transit system is easy to use). The immediate area is an up-and-coming neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops, quiet and full of locals. The club lounge was a great perk. Breakfast was never crowded and the selection was more than adequate. The tapas in the afternoon were welcome, as was the champagne.

My wife and I stayed her for 5 nights and were absolutely thrilled. David greeted us at the entry way and gathered all of our bags. He stayed with us during the entire check in experience at the Club Lounge with Gloria who was fantastic! Gloria and David made a wonderful first impression. Using the Ambassador Membership I was able to get a room upgrade. I highly recommend Club Lounge access. After settling in I went to the Concierge desk and met the gold key concierge who was Fredrico. He was outstanding and helped me lay out a game plan for my stay. Concierge staff of Frederick, Juan and Gema are the best you will find anywhere. Maria and Gloria were regularly at the Club Lounge and they were wonderful. Great check out experience with Maria used the spa for a massage. Best massage we ever had. World Class experience.
