Exuding the vibrant spirit of artist Antonio Gaudi, Le Méridien Barcelona has been recognized as “Monument” by the Barcelona Hotel Association due to its long historical heritage and contribution to the city’s history. When not exploring the city, you can hide away in a guest room or stunning top floor suite, whose sumptuous European luxury has attracted a wealth of luminaries, from Pavarotti to the Rolling Stones. As for dining, seeing and being seen, there is no better hotspot than Cent Onze.

Very very good stay. We had booked 2 premium rooms and one was upgraded to a Jnr suite. The rooms were lovely and were ready when we checked in earlier than standard 3pm. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and kind and couldn’t do more. Our rooms were decorated and given a gift for birthdays we had whilst staying. Little bit of noise from Las Ramblas but given the location of the hotel you can’t be surprised. It’s 5 mins from the heart of the city centre and was perfect for us on this trip. Only slight criticism I would have is breakfast was a little poor. The service was awful and the food selection was ok - fruit poor and allergy issues so take care on that front. Would definitely recommend the hotel if you want to be right in the city centre but worth noting no swimming pool or ‘garden’ type space being so urban.

We are waiting 3 hours for cleaning our Even though we arrived at 17:00. Now we have been waiting for our luggage for 3 hours. I have traveled almost all over Europe but I have never seen such terrible service. Moreover the prices are very high. I'm desperately waiting for my luggage right now, but I have no hope. Also when I want to cancel an upcoming room for tomorrow they say no. I just want a letter from them for insurance. But there are many excuses for that too. I'm very sad, don't be sad

Staff was super helpful at check in and if had any questions. But!!! We were on 5th floor and wasn’t hear our elevator but heard elevator going up and down behind bed. The window needs new seals because heard noise all night long. Tried telling them this at checkout but all I got was “old hotel sorry”. I’ll stay at grand hotel next time in Barcelona. Restaurant was much better too.

The service provided at this hotel goes above and beyond. Happened to be here for my birthday - was greeted at breakfast with a “happy birthday” by the hostess, a serenade at the table with delicious chocolate cake, and returned to the room after a full day of touring to a bottle of champagne and fruit bowl, with a nice handwritten note. Very thoughtful and attentive experience. The location is great, near many choices for bars and restaurants, shopping and metro. Rooms are good size and updated. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again on the next trip to Barcelona.

We stayed here two nights at the tail end of a 10-day stay in Catalonia. Nice room, modern, quiet, good water pressure. Front desk service (Nuria) was especially helpful when we checked in. Internet worked well. Breakfast was good, adequate. Weather didn't really permit lounging on the roof garden. Location is excellent, walking distance to the main cathedral, picasso and other museums.
