Excellent location and Lovely hotel and room - stayed in the Passeo de Gracio suite. Breakfast was excellent. Average review because the hotel charged us 150 Euros for early checkin without any advance warning even though we had exchanged Emails requesting early checkin and we were under the impression it would be provided (no mention of a fee) if possible. Given the price we paid for the room we felt the 150 euro charge was outrageous. We would not recommend the hotel and would not stay here again because of this. We mentioned our concerns to the Front Desk Supervisor to no avail - very disappointing.

Good, bad & the Ugly; Good, great location, friendly staff; the Bad, rooms are small and very dark with a single small window. almost bomb shelter like; the Ugly, we reserved and paid for a suite but when we saw the room it was even darker and less user friendly. We downgraded to a room with slightly more light but until we complained they did not decrease the cost. Even then not by the amount had we made the original reservation a lesser priced room. We were ignored when we complained.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on a quick Barca getaway for her birthday. The hotel was very nice and I could not fault the staff, everyone was very friendly....the cava for my wifes birthday in the room was nice...thank you very much. The hotel was very good and rooms were good, we had junior patio....no great views from our room but the room and en suite were beautiful, the sheets and pillows were very good!! The restaurants were good, we went to Oria (one Michelin star) and the staff were all brilliant, and experience and food overall was very good. The maître d' was very good...think he stopped me making a mistake when ordering wine!! We also had cocktails in the bar before and after and the barman was a master at cocktails, very good....even if my wife did order one she didn't like (I had her smokey....it looked like a chemistry experiment but was very good!!). We also had breakfast in the roof restaurant which was very nice. From the doormen to the guy who brought the plasters to our room for my wife's blisters after an intense day of walking around Barcelona...all the staff were faultless. The location was great too. Would definitely recommend for anyone.....we didn't even get time to check out the spa!! I would like to come when warmer and go in the pool....bit wet when we were there...can't have everything!!

One of the nicest hotels ever! The amenities, the rooftop, the food, the comfy bed and amazing bathroom are just a few reasons to stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer! Staff was friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the early check-in!

I visited the hotel in late 2024. The central location made the hotel a great place to stay. There were stores and restaurants within easy walking distance. From the second we pulled up we were treated extremely well. The reception is warm and professional. The room was clean and spacious. The food was delicious as were the drinks. I loved the atmosphere of the roof top bar. My only complaint was when we checked out there was only one operating elevator. That made checking out with luggage tough. I would definitely stay there again.
