We stayed here once before in the summer and our one night experience was superb. We returned for a Sun-Fri ski trip this January 12-17 and our experience was amazing! The valet who unpacked our car and transported everything to our room, with skis taken to the ski valet room, was so very friendly, professional and efficient! The 2 young woman at the front desk were so engaging, efficient and customer-focused! (I had spoken to one of them via phone the previous night and she had an excellent manner). Our Superior King room was spacious, clean and very comfortable for this senior couple (thanks for the Keurig and fireplace). Trent and Sam, your ski valets, were so very friendly, engaging and efficient with our skis every day. The bar staff every night was just amazing - again, very friendly, engaging and customer-focused. (We love to talk with folks during our travels). While the continental breakfast wasn't a favorite selection of foods for us, it was well-presented and amply stocked. We asked for and received a room on the opposite side from the lift, not wanting lift start-up noises to disturb our sleep. Our only minus was our first night - Sunday, when a very loud group of folks were either super noisy in the hot tub area and/or noisy on our 3rd floor, which kept us from sleeping until after midnight. Otherwise, everything was terrific!

The hotel is very luxurious, full service with ski valet, fireplaces in the rooms, great food, best location in the world for skiing, fitness center is really nice, great outdoor hot spa, heated pool, steam and sauna, free transport to everywhere clean, love the ski valet, love the access to the lift, great AM breakfast buffet FOR FREE, great people there (especially Michael at the front desk HE IS AWESOME, late lunch there was really good as well, nice to have all 4 water features (pool, spa, steam and sauna). One of the best experiences we have ever had in a hotel. Michael at the front desk HE IS AWESOME. He went out of his way to help us the entire stay. People like Michael make you want to come back to a hotel over and over again. He is one of the best people we have ever met in a hotel. He is a treasure you should value. I would hire the guy to work with us if we ever had an opening. He is that good. We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed staying at this hotel and we will return many times this year and next for sure. It is divine. Check out all of our reviews and look at all the photos below. The hotel's location is unparalleled, offering direct access to the Strawberry lift right from the ski-valet, and a convenient walk across the bridge to the Centennial lift and Beaver Creek Village. While the hotel itself is satisfactory, the rooms are of a good size and maintained clean, albeit somewhat musty. The feature to Chromecast from personal devices to the room's TV was a nice amenity. The walls are thin, allowing sounds from neighboring rooms to seep through, and housekeeping services are only provided every other day. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, yet the service does not meet the expectations for a four-star establishment. The breakfast options are limited to a cold buffet, including cereal, yogurt, and pastries, with inadequate staffing levels, often requiring guests to seek out the solitary staff member for essentials like napkins and coffee. The hotel is very accommodating to families, which is a positive aspect, though it's worth noting that many of the amenities, especially the hot tub may be crowded with children. Regarding the mention of a marijuana odor by other reviewers, we noticed it in the hallway on the first night but not during the subsequent nights of our stay. Overall, I would cautiously recommend the hotel, provided you adjust your expectations accordingly and prioritize the convenient location. For those seeking more luxurious amenities and superior service, you may want to look elsewhere.

This was a return trip to the Osprey for us. It certainly has one of the best locations in Beaver Creek with the Strawberry lift steps out the back door. We love skiing Beaver Creek and the location is the biggest draw. Other aspects of the space, not so much. On the good side, the staff were great. Always helpful, friendly and outgoing. We always book our trip so the day we leave, we can ski in the morning before we depart and they are great about allowing us to load up the car and keep it in the garage after we have checked out while we ski one last time. This trip we booked a Lodge King room. The room itself was fine, comfortable bed, plenty of space. Unfortunately, I didn't specify or request a non-adjoining room. Not always a problem but this time it was as the adjoining suite had a sick child who coughed and hacked away all night long. An annoyance but not the Osprey's fault. The biggest drawback to the suite was the bathroom area. One small towel bar and one hook outside the shower is completely inadequate. The only other hook was behind the door to the toilet stall. Management asks us to hang up our towels if we want to reuse them (in order to be environmentally friendly) and then provides NO space to do so. The only drawback to the location, if your room is on the Strawberry Lift side of the hotel, is the lift can be rather noisy when it starts up in the morning. So I knock off 1 star for the poor layout of the bathroom. Otherwise it's a good place to stay.

This hotel is excellent. The staff was so kind and helpful and went out of the way to make our stay pleasant and fun. The room size was ample and we were <50 feet from the ski lift. The valet staff helped me take care of a flat tire and went out of the way to take care of me and my wife. I was delighted by our experience.
