Four Seasons Hotel Beijing

This hotel is absolutely spectacular. The service I received for my week long stay was second to none. I have stayed at many Four Seasons properties around the world, including Paris and St Jean Cap Ferrat, and the service levels at the Beijing property exceeds even these other world class properties. I was travelling for business however my business trip overlapped with my birthday. My partner made the hotel aware it was my birthday before I arrived as a surprise and the staff made me feel so special!! They decorated my room with balloons and a lovely message on the window! At breakfast each day (which is a wonderful breakfast with wide selection and fresh produce), the staff made me feel so special, always remembering my preferences. On my birthday they even organised a birthday pastry and traditional soup. It was truly special! After a busy day working, I came back to the most delicious birthday cake in my room as well. Then on my last day, they organised the most delicious farewell pastry and gift. Given I was away from home and my family on my birthday, I can’t think of a better place to have spent it! The level of service is absolutely incredible and a true credit to the world class hospitality offered by this professional team. I can’t remember everyone’s names but thank you so much again, a truly memorable stay. Next time I’m in Beijing I know exactly where to stay!! Thank you so much!!

Our tour guide David from Peony travel was amazing! We had such a great time and learnt so much from him, he took us to the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall! Loved the hotel too, everyone was very friendly and the tea garden was very relaxing.

Jenny is an amazing guide, very the patience and great explaining the history. We loved to come with Her. We totally recommend the tour with her if you are planning to come to china. Its very important to go with someone like her that knows everything

Second time staying here. Facilities are really well maintained, and service is on point. Rooms feel homely and inviting. In particular, I want to commend Michael from the concierge desk. He went above and beyond to book some concert tickets at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) for me - to the extent that he called the NCPA hotline to confirm that you don’t need a Chinese ID card to book, and then took the initiative to book 2 nights of tickets for me using his own account, and then forwarded me all the relevant ticket collection information. Excellent example of great hospitality.

It’s impossible to list all the ways staff at the Four Seasons Beijing went above and beyond with their customer service but I will try. I’ve stayed at many amazing hotels around the world and I can say that the customer service here is unparalleled. I was a little nervous to travel with my 90 year old father as we sometimes need a bit more help and time to get things done but staff here made everything as easy and as smooth as possible. Even before our arrival the concierge team (Fred, Michael, Leo & Henry) were super responsive and arranged our tours and a shower chair for my father. After our Great Wall tour my father was a bit tired so they made sure we had a wheelchair for our Forbidden City tour. When my father had an upset stomach the kitchen prepared a special porridge for him twice. Staff in the gym, pool and locker rooms were attentive while at the same time respectful of space. They made sure I had a towel, a drink and always made sure everything was clean and in order. At the spa they were super accommodating and tailored treatments to my father’s needs. The service doesn’t end when you walk out their doors. We availed of VIP service to the train station and Levy accompanied us and handled our luggage all the way to our train seats. He then let the cabin attendant know our food and drink choices. But even more amazing is that Levy and Michael contacted our next hotel in Huangshan to arrange to have someone meet us on the train platform to help us with our luggage. I was a bit nervous about taking care of my Father and our luggage at the same time and they magically made arrangements to fix this challenge for me. I am so grateful. Thank you Levy and Michael! We availed of a club room and in my opinion they are worth it. The view in the executive lounge is very nice and the refreshments and afternoon tea are lovely. The hotel is a little older but it is very well maintained and the decor is classy. The flower arrangements throughout the hotel are stunning. The amazing thing about all of the help that all of the staff at Four Seasons Beijing extend is that they seem genuinely happy to help. The hospitality is real and will leave us with many fond memories of Beijing. Thank you for making our time in Beijing so special!
