Grand Hyatt Beijing

The hotel is located in the center of Beijing, near the Dongdan metro station, and it is next to the Wangfujing street which is perfect for shopping/dining. My family and I booked two rooms, one with the suite upgrade award and the other was upgraded to a newly renovated standard suite as I'm an Hyatt globalist. I'm very grateful for the responsive help that the staff provided--- they are professional, enthusiastic, and very responsive to my needs. However, at the same time I do want to highlight that there are certain things that you should anticipate if you are visiting Grand Hyatt Beijing: - The club lounge is new, but the food & beverage options are limited. Especially during the afternoon happy hour session, there were nothing but juices/water, and cookies (which are tasty, but still the only option). - The hotel has some newly renovated rooms, which are nice; and there are some "old rooms", which are clean, spacious and cozy, BUT OLD. For example, there was no wall-mounted shower head (which almost any other Grand Hyatts I've visited had). The TVs were old and the resolution was low. The couch/sofa was with an old-fashioned design. While this is not the best Grand Hyatt I've visited, I do highly appreciate its location, staff, service and the newly renovated standard suite; I had a great time staying here. I'd recommend staying here!

The newly renovated and upgraded Grand Hyatt Beijing can be considered the best choice for visitors coming to Beijing. Its location is incredibly advantageous, with just a 10-minute walk to Tiananmen Square and the famous Wangfujing pedestrian street right at its doorstep. The hotel’s restaurant, Made in China, is one of the most renowned Chinese restaurants in Hyatt’s Greater China region. The hotel offers the most classic Hyatt-style exceptional service in the heart of Beijing's city center.

Chief service ambassador Alvin Tham & team were truly hospitable. They ensured we had a memorable stay with surprise room decoration, gift and upgrade, after knowing that we were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary & 21st birthday celebration for our son. We definitely look forward to returning for future holidays when we visit Beijing again!

My husband and I have stayed in this hotel for about two weeks on and off recently. We were upgraded to a suite room as globalist benefit. Check in was at 17th floor which was really quick and smooth. What was greatly exceed my expectation was the wonderful experience in the lounge. Chefs are great and go out of their way to accommodate customers. If you have any special request, they will try to make you happy. The young chef whose last name is Zhang, and Jerry Wang, 刘琳,小雨. All chefs are wonderful. Service people, Bob, 小房 and Libby are great! I think grand Hyatt Beijing has one of the best lounge service and team in Beijing! The quality of the food is very decent. We had continuously elated for two weeks and did not get tired of it. This is a much healthy way to travel. Will going back!
