Grand Hyatt Beijing

I'm truly let down by my recent visit to the Oasis Club on the P3 floor of Grand Hyatt Beijing. The front - desk staff member, a rather portly and tall guy with a round face, had a service attitude that left much to be desired. When I walked up to ask about the club's facilities and service packages, he responded in a brusque and uninterested manner. He showed zero enthusiasm for helping me, as if my presence was an annoyance. Each of my questions was met with brief, unhelpful answers, and he seemed eager to end the conversation as quickly as possible. What's more frustrating is that when I pointed out his lack of professionalism, he made up an excuse, claiming to be a trainee. However, after chatting with other guests, I found out that this was a blatant lie. This kind of dishonesty and poor service is unacceptable, especially in a hotel of Grand Hyatt's caliber. I've always held the Grand Hyatt brand in high esteem, but this experience has really changed my perception. I sincerely hope the hotel management can look into this issue, retrain the staff, and ensure that guests are treated with the respect and quality service they deserve.

The service at Grand Hyatt Beijing is truly the best we've experienced in the past few years. Honestly, this was kind of surprising to have such high quality of service from your team start from arrival email and also after we left , we received email care about what we feeling during the stay. The hotel is incredibly clean and has such a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. The dedication to customer satisfaction is remarkable. A special shoutout to Alvin- his service was nothing short of exceptional. Whatever training he's received, it's working wonders! His energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to providing the best experience left a lasting impression on us. We deeply appreciate the effort he put in to make our stay unforgettable.

Excellent location at the heart of Beijing. Hotel is well maintained and staff are very eager to help. The hotel is also connected to a major mall. Would be better if hotel bar’s operating hour is longer. When I went for a drink around 11pm, it was already closed.

The hotel is located in the center of Beijing, near the Dongdan metro station, and it is next to the Wangfujing street which is perfect for shopping/dining. My family and I booked two rooms, one with the suite upgrade award and the other was upgraded to a newly renovated standard suite as I'm an Hyatt globalist. I'm very grateful for the responsive help that the staff provided--- they are professional, enthusiastic, and very responsive to my needs. However, at the same time I do want to highlight that there are certain things that you should anticipate if you are visiting Grand Hyatt Beijing: - The club lounge is new, but the food & beverage options are limited. Especially during the afternoon happy hour session, there were nothing but juices/water, and cookies (which are tasty, but still the only option). - The hotel has some newly renovated rooms, which are nice; and there are some "old rooms", which are clean, spacious and cozy, BUT OLD. For example, there was no wall-mounted shower head (which almost any other Grand Hyatts I've visited had). The TVs were old and the resolution was low. The couch/sofa was with an old-fashioned design. While this is not the best Grand Hyatt I've visited, I do highly appreciate its location, staff, service and the newly renovated standard suite; I had a great time staying here. I'd recommend staying here!

The newly renovated and upgraded Grand Hyatt Beijing can be considered the best choice for visitors coming to Beijing. Its location is incredibly advantageous, with just a 10-minute walk to Tiananmen Square and the famous Wangfujing pedestrian street right at its doorstep. The hotel’s restaurant, Made in China, is one of the most renowned Chinese restaurants in Hyatt’s Greater China region. The hotel offers the most classic Hyatt-style exceptional service in the heart of Beijing's city center.
