Grand Hyatt Beijing

Better than expected with an amazing external grandeur and superb stay experience. Conveniently located near the Wangfujing area with great accessibility via train (Line 1) and taxi. The basement mall also allow comfortable shopping with a lot of big brands. Entire check-in was seamless, wide selection at breakfast though not as comprehensive as I have seen. I enjoyed the local dishes on offer. Rooms were sufficiently large, bottled water was regularly replaced and there are two and three point pin plugs available in room. The washroom is large though basic amenities like shaving razor have to be asked for. The exit to Wangfujing is either via a slope down from the front door or through the basement mall (slightly longer). Attractions like the Forbidden City, Tiananmen are a short walk from the hotel.

The location is good lobby is spacious and well maintained. However, the room was very outdated, A/C noisy and not working properly. The staff not friendly at all and their English was very bad I mean very very bad and some of them were rude. Next time I will definitely choose another hotel for sure.

Smooth check in and check out experience. Very efficient and attentive staff! Good breakfast spread with wide variety of local dishes and western selections. Hotel room was clean and neat. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of 3 metro lines.

This hotel is impeccable! The welcome was great and we had a Club Room which was superb. The food and drinks were great and the staff were especially welcoming, Harry and James in particular. The pool area was called Oasis and it certainly was! Such a beautiful space to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. Our trips were organised by Scott, one of the most amazing concierge we’ve experienced.

Grand Hyatt Beijing Review During my stay at the Grand Hyatt Beijing, I was impressed by the hotel's ambiance, location, and service. Located in the heart of Beijing, it's steps from Wangfujing shopping street and close to major attractions like the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. A shopping center next to the hotel and a train line below make it easy to explore the city. Check-In and Lobby: Check-in was smooth, and the hotel features a grand lobby that sets the tone for a memorable experience. Room: I stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. It was spacious but showed signs of aging, with dated furniture and fixtures. The apartment was comfortable, with large windows offering great views and a well-equipped kitchen. Amenities: The indoor pool is a must-visit—peaceful and well-maintained. The fitness center is spacious with a good range of equipment. Service: Special mention to the Club Lounge staff—Alvin, Libby, Harry, James, and the team—who made my stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen staff impressed with delicious meals, and housekeeping kept the room spotless.
