Excellent customer service at the restaurant and front desk. Very friendly staff. Ready to help with a smile. Good location. Near great restaurants. English speaking staff. There is a mall attached to hotel and a grocery store in the mall for any basic and local goods.

Ah, the Ritz-Carlton—where the price tag screams luxury, but the service whispers "Oops, did we forget you're a guest?" Let’s start with the basics: simple words like “orange juice” are apparently rare vocabulary gems here, and asking for a latte feels like rolling the dice at a casino. Will it be a cappuccino today? Who knows! If chaos is your vibe, you' II feel right at home. But hey, if you' re Chinese, you might actually experience that elusive 5-star service! For the rest of us, it's 5-star prices without the service to match. Special mention to Sunny, among all their colleagues at the restaurant she was the only one who at least tried to give us a decent service. Service? Well, let’s just say it’s more of a DIY project with a side of indifferent staff glued to their phones, Club Lounge, breakfast area, lobby, etc. And heaven forbid you have a problem—because, naturally, laughter is the best solution. The check-in experience was especially memorable. You’d think they were running a race with how quickly they handed over the room key, without a single word of explanation. But let me take a moment to appreciate Sophie and Itziar. These two ladies are the only reason we felt like we were in a Ritz-Carlton at all. Sophie greeted us every morning with a genuine smile. Itziar gave us thoughtful advice that made our stay much more enjoyable, she was always ready to help, stepping in at check-out to ensure we left with at least one pleasant memory, please run into her if you need help setting up some Apps that will make your life in China easier. If only the rest of the staff could learn from them… Without Sophie and Itziar, this place would be a complete disaster.

Fantastic stay in Beijing with an excellent room. Staff arranged me a suite and it’s really a generous offer especially in this high demand season. The room is clean, nice, decent and next to the shopping centre. Very convenient. Special thanks to Vida TANG & Itziar for their great anniversary celebration arrangement. It’s really a remarkable and memorable. The management and staff are excellent, experienced and professional. Highly recommend.

I had a comfortable stay at the Ritz Carlton Financial hotel. The bed was very comfortable with soft nice pillows. It’s an older hotel, but well kept. The buffet breakfast had a lot of options Chinese and western food. The bell men and front dest were very polite and helpful when I needed something. Location was great!

We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton Financial Street in Beijing and had an overall good experience. The hotel is generally clean, and the staff across all areas—from Entry, Concierge, Reception to the Club—are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The service quality varies, ranging from okay to very good, and at times, even superb. However, the hotel is in need of renovations and upgrades. Some areas feel dated, and updating the facilities would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. One notable challenge was the language barrier. The majority of the staff have limited English proficiency, which made communication difficult and occasionally impossible. I often found ourself relying on a translator app to convey basic requests and questions. A standout during our stay was Itziar, the Guest Relations Manager. Without her assistance, we would have left the Ritz Carlton hotels altogether. She went above and beyond to correct a booking mistake related to an upgrade and consistently supported us throughout our stay, making it truly memorable. We can’t wait to return—if Itziar is still part of the team. Advice for Management: To enhance the quality of service for international guests, consider empowering Itziar with more managerial responsibilities and investing in English language training for the entire staff.
