Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. At Heritage Le Telfair the smallest details are handled with the greatest care, because your comfort, pleasure, and experience are top priority.

Had a lovely holiday great resort , golf for some every day , spa and sunbathing for the others Good food although the service was ver very slow , need to order your drinks at least 20 mins before needed . Breakfast was an amazing buffet apart from if you asked for a spoon for your tea or yogurt it never ever came , it became a standing joke any one got their spoon yet , could ask 3 waiters every five mins , it never came . But did not spoil any thing . Golf club food fantastic and the chateau We alternated every night over 10 days . Our rooms we fantastic over looking the sea , walked on the beach every morning , great start to the day . Definitely coming back .

This holiday literally is heaven on earth. From the moment you arrive at the hotel the staff are there to welcome you. The whole team at the hotel from the hotel staff, spa staff, gym staff and restaurant staff, all are truly amazing. Al water sports are a must. The hotel is as advertised. Amazing gardens and hotel rooms superb. I have travelled music of the world and I must stay this is most certainly one in my top three…

We've just come back from 2 weeks in this great resort - our second visit this year, which clearly demonstrates that it's pretty good. Without exception the staff were charming and could not do enough to help and satisfy our needs. Our room was great and views over the beach and the sunset. It was nice to have an all-inclusive package and essentially a free mini-bar that was replenished every day. There was a good variety of restaurants on site - we had meals in 7 different places and would return to all of them again. As keen golfers, the standard of the 2 courses was very important and we were not disappointed. The new course, La Reserve, is simply spectacular but does not take prisoners, especially if windy. Not only are the views down to the coast outstanding, but it is also a true test for golfers and it really is a links style course. The Chateau course is easier but no pushover and has a great variety of holes, all of which are memorable even after only a couple of rounds. The staff at the pro shop always tried to accommodate any change in our plans due to strong winds and we were able to move tee times as necessary without difficulty. We will return again.

A lovely place with infinite views of the blue ocean and sky. Overwhelming therapeutic scenes. The hotel rooms are designed to maximise relaxation. The service was rather below average though especially from the Butler allocated to us. Poor communication, delayed meals an experience that felt like we were ignored. The room maid, Mandini, was however a soothing factor and was very hospitable and took great care of us.
