Westin Grand Berlin

Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly & helpful. Room clean & comfortable. Very convenient situation. Good coffee from the bar although service sometimes a little slow. Did not use restaurant so I am unable to comment on the service and food.

I was staying here for 1 night for work purposes and I had booked a double room. When I got to the room I noticed it was overlooking the road and I could hear the traffic, I was concerned I wouldn’t sleep as I am a light sleeper so I went back to reception and I spoke with Lennart who told me the hotel was fully booked and he would try and accommodate my request to move rooms. After a short time in the back office Lennart came back to me and was able to move me to a quieter room. I was delighted This is indeed a Grand Hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and the location is brilliant, right in the city centre. I will be back for business soon and I will definitely stay in this hotel

Lovely hotel and great location, but Relish bar staff were incredibly rude. The two male waiters were ignorant and not interested in guests. Also, prices of food and drinks crazy! 34 euros for breakfast… as a hotel guest! How can that be a reasonable price?

This big hotel is situated in the most beautiful part of Berlin surrounded by high end shops, coffee shops and restaurants. It is about 10 - 15 minutes walk to most places of interest and many excellent Xmas markets. It is next to an underground. Location is great! The service is excellent and part of the hotel is refurbished. The spa is a bit old fashioned. The breakfast is nice but not great. Our refurnished room is big, stylish and comfortable. We were on the top floor and luckily at Xmas, we can see beautiful fireworks without venturing in the cold. We will come back to this hotel next time when we are in Berlin.

Hotel has an absolutely stunning interior and room was lovely and a good size. The only complaint I have is we always had to ask for English Breakfast teabags. Cannot comment on food as we never ate there. The hotel is very central and only a 10 minute walk from Friedrichstrasse train station, Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate.
