Westin Grand Berlin

I have a meeting every other December in Berlin. This is my second time staying in the Western Grand. The hotel is in a fantastic area for tourists. It is on a great shopping street, near Christmas markets, Unter Den Linden, and Museum Island. The hotel is grand with a high stained glass atrium. Staff is very friendly and having a room available early was very much appreciated after a long flight. Rooms are spacious with large bathrooms with heated floors. My room on the 6th floor was silent despite being on a busy street. The gym is quite nice and never crowded. My only complaints were very inconsistent wifi and some difficulties controlling room temperature. I will consider staying at the Westin Grand when I return to Berlin in 2026.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. The Westin was everything I had hoped for. Comfortable, fabulous pillows, nice rooms and great staff. Breakfast was quite expensive but good. The hot chocolate with rum was just what I needed after being out in the rain. Sadly, the only disappointment was the weather.

Lovely hotel, well situated to visit Brandenburg Gate (5min walk), Frederickstrase and underground right outside the main door. Staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Food in the hotel was good, breakfast buffet was suitable and met our expectations. Any requests we had were met well. Felt safe staying here and visiting the area. We loved the automatic/mini robot hoovers.

Superb location, right at the Unter den Linden U-bahn station. Close to key museums, shopping. Staff helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Quiet rooms, quite comfortable, good noise control. Good lighting. I have only one recommendation for the hotel, which is to put grab-bars in the shower, as a matter of safety.

Stayed for 4 nights during Halloween midterm. We arrived late on a Saturday night and were given a lovely room on the 4th floor however immediately on entering the room it was very warm and the aircon/fan unit was not working. We immediately called reception and were shown a room on the top floor which had a working fan and stayed here instead. The gentleman who moved our room was friendly and very courteous. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. Rooms were cleaned daily and still water bottles also replaced daily. The branded bathroom products were good and shampoo and conditioner were provided. Breakfast was good and had plenty to choose from. Overall it’s a comfortable hotel in a quiet & central location.
