What stood out most was the warmth of the staff - genuine smiles and a willingness to go above and beyond. The public spaces were meticulously maintained, and the overall atmosphere exuded tranquility. I particularly appreciated the blend of modern amenities with classic hospitality touches. It felt like a home away from home, just with much better service.

What sets this place apart is how they combine efficiency with genuine warmth. The rooms were spotless and well-appointed, but it was the little touches that made our stay memorable - from the welcome drink to the personalized recommendations from the concierge. The restaurant service was particularly impressive, with staff who knew the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving space.

The Peninsula BH does some things great. Service and responsiveness from the lovely staff is spot on. The building and back gardens are gorgeous and the afternoon tea looks amazing (though I didnt get a chance to try it). However, the rooms here clearly haven’t been updated for at least 30 years. Everything is very, very tired in the rooms and feels like your grandmother decorated it. I will say they’re quiet which is a must for me and the villas in the back are private and spacious. But you’re a 5 star hotel in BH, time to get with the program. Lastly, My fiancée came and visited me for the evening. When I asked the valet how much it was for him to park for a few hours, they said “don’t worry about it” which I took to mean as it was complimentary. But it was SEVENTY SIX dollars. Had we known it was so expensive he would’ve parked down the street. Definitely a gross bait and switch. Will not be retuning because of this.

We spent 3 nights here whilst travelling. route 1 and taking a detour to see LA. A beautiful hotel, very well appointed as you would expect with extremely high levels of service throughout our stay. Concierge was always helpful in making suggestions and booking tours etc. The hotel was a great location to explore LA. and take in the local shopping including Rodeo drive. Nice cocktail bar and food in the Belvedere restaurant was good. Breakfast was OKAY but a little slow to be served! Overall a great place to stay to explore this interesting city.
