Reviews for Montage Big Sky

Beautiful, relaxing experience in November.

The property and staff at Montage were simply amazing. The location is perfect and they had many activities to keep us busy. We happily surprised that they had a pub like area with bowling, arcade games, shuffleboard, foosball, and other fun activities. A special shout out to Oscar Chinchilla for making our wedding anniversary so special. He is a class act.

4 Days of Perfection

Everything during our recent stay at The Montage Big Sky was perfect and exceeded expectation. Despite being off season, the staffing was spot on, and we found plenty to do in the surrounding area (Yellowstone National Park for one). Upon our arrival we were taken on a tour of the hotel, which is the largest building in the state. The views from the enormous picture windows were stunning. Fires in several sitting areas created a welcoming ambiance. Our bedroom even had a fireplace that we used every morning. We enjoyed a kraft cocktail before dinner each evening and were treated like longtime friends by the bar staff. The main dining room had a variety of offerings, all of which had unique twists and presentations. One of my favorites was their take on burrata cheese with imported from Italy heirloom tomatoes. Speaking of Italy, we loved the homemade pasta bolognese. The resort also has a bakery where guests can enjoy artistic sweets and freshly made to-go items if they will be away seeing sights or hiking for the day. Our room was spacious with high-end appointments and amenities, including bath salts and a loofah. From servers to facility managers, everyone addressed us by name and made us feel welcome in every venue. Five stars rent enough!

Fall Getaway to Montage Big Sky

My husband and I were immediately greeted on the front drive and offered a delicious local welcome drink. All the bellmen throughout our stay were incredible and attentive. The front desk agent from Switzerland gave us a great tour of the property before showing us to our unit. They offered complimentary yoga each morning at 7am, Jennifer is a great instructor! Alexis in IRD was great, when we delivered our dinner, he set it up on our table for us. We dined at Alpen Glow twice and both Eli and Jordanne were great! Cortina is their fine dining Italian restaurant and Peter was a great server too, didn't miss a beat. Jane was awesome in Wildflower with the assistance of making our order to go for our road trip home. We also got to utilize their Compass Sports and take out a couple e-bikes while we were there. Jon was incredible with guiding us where to go along with telling us where to go find some petrified wood. Caleb and Emily were also great from Compass sharing fun ideas of what to do in the area. We had a great check-in and check-out experience! I wish I remembered names. Thank you for an incredible stay that provided us with lasting memories!

Beautiful property

Beautiful, relaxing, with great service. The hotel was quiet. Being the shoulder season, there were limited dining choices. Room was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The staff was excellent is every way - check in, valet, housekeeping, dining. We went for a hike near the hotel but there were plenty of things to do. Would return in a heartbeat.

Big Sky Perfection

Top notch setting, facilities, and staff. I am a Montage Laguna beach part time resident , and they have set the bar high for me, and as such, I was pleased as punch to experience parallel service and amenities at Montage Big Sky! Relaxed luxury at its finest. A wonderful staff that exudes warmth and genuine customer service. All of our requests were met with prompt attention. Hotel design and layout are perfect for the surrounding beauty. Vista from lobby etc. are stunning. Fabulous artwork throughout hotel. Fun activities daily, even though we were in low season. We went on a guided hike on property which was lovely. Other activities include fly casting, axe throwing etc. Cortina restaurant is superb Italian fare at its best. Daniel our server, and Roger, the sommelier from the Barolo region, were the dynamic duo we had the pleasure of taking care of us twice during our stay. Two gems of people and personalities. The spa is spacious clean, and well appointed. A stunning indoor pool is the highlight. A highlight was a private tour to Yellowstone for the day. Truman, our guide for the day, was beyond knowledgeable ,fun, and accommodating to our viewing preferences for the day. He even managed to find grizzly bears!! A memorable stay, will return!!
