Hotel Miro

Excellent location in a nice part of Bilbao close to the Guggenheim museum and the Fine Arts museum. Nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff. We liked the honesty bar that was always open as well. The whole neighbourhood had great tapas/pintxos as well as sit down lunch and dinner options. Hotel only does breakfast which was perfectly fine.

Fabulous hotel! Staff are really helpful and everyone we dealt with was so friendly. Room was great with a fabulous view of the Guggenheim. Lots of storage space and lovely bathroom and shower. There was a good choice for breakfast with some buffet style and some items you could order from the waiter. It was all delicious. Location was excellent with easy access to the shops, restaurants and old town. Can't think of anything to fault it and we would definitely stay there again.

Ideal location opposite Guggenheim museum as well as a helpful tourist information centre.While the Museum de Belles Artes,housing an exceptional collection of Spanish and Basque art,is just 10 minutes walk and free.We visited while our room was made ready. There are also unmissable Riverside walks the other side of the Guggenheim,which we found were a relaxing way to"tune" into Bilbao. We stayed 5 nights in September 2024 and,by the time we left the hotel really felt like a home from home. One professional review called the Miro "A 4 star hotel with 5 star service"We agree. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The Miro offers a gym and spa,and on our final night my wife enjoyed an excellent massage. Our 7th floor room for the last 2 nights was luxurious with long full length windows giving great views of the extraordinary Guggenheim and across the river. The room was spacious,well furnished and opulent with a comfortable king sized bed.It even had two washing spaces,one with shower AND bath.Breakfasts were healthy, delicious and so generous that we found we needed to eat only once more each day. Overall ,Hotel Miro is stylish and simply superb.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location very near the Guggenheim museum. Very near to bus stop for direct airport bus. Beautiful well appointed room. Really nice and generous breakfast. Perfect!

A gem of a hotel in a great location. We stayed here two nights and it was the perfect location for walking to the museum as well as the balance of the town. The staff were excellent throughout. Our room had a great view. it was spacious and a large bathroom. Breakfast was good although very slow. We would have ordered off the menu but it was taking too long and we had tours to attend. nice hotel
