EK Hotel

We got a very good deal for our three night stay in a Junior Suite. Check in and later dealings with Reception sometimes seemed long winded but overall OK. Breakfasts were inconsistent. One morning cereal and no milk (told you have to ask for the milk), next day milk is out. Small spoons go missing one morning and the next there is an issue with the tea. The breakfast hardly wows, less choice and better options might be a better way to go. On billing the normal items that it appears you ate from the minibar but never touched. Why is this still an issue in hotels? The biggest problem was the room and our was showing signs of wear. There were meant to be two televisions in the room, but there was only one although the mounting frame had been left. Another day I could not understand our iPads and phones were not charging. The room key slot for the power was the problem and as I jiggled the key the slot just fell off the wall. It went back, but clearly I was not the first to repair the issue. The suction power of the toilet was rather alarming and noisy! We’ve stayed here quite a bit over the years, both for tourism and in the past business and have recommended it widely. It is well positioned and style wise is pleasant but it does seem in need of a makeover. However it is increasingly well priced (say half the price of a property like the Sofitel) but is beginning to age. Recommended but probably worth a poke around the room before accepting it on arrival.

Our stay at the EK Hotel exceeded our expectations and fully confirmed the positive reviews we had read! The accommodations are spacious, featuring a supremely comfortable bed and a generous bathroom equipped with high-quality amenities. The staff is incredibly attentive and kind, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. The breakfast is outstanding, offering an impressive selection of both local and international dishes. Additionally, the hotel's prime location provides easy access to taxis and nearby attractions. We highly recommend!

Only three nights at the end of our Colombian holiday and we enjoyed staying here before we said goodbye. It is a businessman's hotel, but we felt perfectly welcome as tourists. Breakfast staff are super friendly and efficient and so àre the front desk and concierge. We even enjoyed the local 'sopa de caldo' to start the day. The room on the seventh floor is very stylish and modern with a panoramic view of the hills. This is in the best part of town so you get to be close to the largest malls and we still managed to get our own taxis from outside the hotel all the way to the centre about 40 minutes away given Bogotá traffic. The popular Black Bear restaurant is almost next door along with a host of other eateries for dinner.

Great location in an upscale neighborhood. Very nice rooms and complimentary breakfast. Surrounded by a park with 6 restaurants. Anna Maria at the front desk was great and very helpful with dinner reservations. Carlos, the bellman explained all the features of the room when he delivered our luggage. I highly recommend EK Hotel.

The bell boy Carlos Diaz was amazing super friendly above and beyond!! As soon as he would see us he was happy to help in any way! The hotel wears clean and in a great location thanks Carlos for all your help!
