Absolutely the most outstanding experience I have ever had at any hotel. Above and beyond only begins to describe the service. We stayed 2 nights over the New Year and were amazed by the attention to detail from check in to departure, the quiet calm of the room, and the spectacular view over the harbor. This will be our hotel of choice in Boston going forward.

This is a beautiful hotel that has exceptional customer service. My husband and I booked the NYE package and had an amazing time. The hotel goes above and beyond to ensure a phenomenal experience. A few examples of their exemplary customer service: our GPS took us to the Residences entrance instead of the actual hotel entrance with the valet parking. Because it is a one way street, it would have required us to drive 4 blocks in alot of traffic and turn around to get to the correct entrance. They radioed the valet at the hotel and he came to get our car no problem at all. We arrived at check-in time with a long line, they apologized for the delay and passed out waters. Our room was not ready and they offered us an alternate room or we could wait for what they said was a room with an amazing view and worth waiting for - they gave us a voucher to enjoy an appetizer on the house. The room was spectacular - amazing view of the harbor and courthouse and we had a front row seat out our window for the NYE fireworks - truly amazing. Champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and turn down service with slippers next to our bed and Diptyque luxury lotions on the pillow. We pre-ordered our in room breakfast the night before, which was part of the package. The breakfast was a bit delayed, which we expected, so we just lounged in our robes drinking delicious nespresso coffee - loved the detailed instructions on how to operate. Breakfast was amazing - eggs benedict with lox and hollandaise, Irish benedict with homemade corned beef hash, fresh berries and pineapple, GFree toast with butter and jams, oatmeal with walnuts, brown sugar and golden raisins for add-ins and the option to order almond milk was a bonus. This is our favorite hotel in Boston and will definitely be back!!

First rate hotel. They really did all the little things right which is just more and more rare across luxury hotels. The housekeeping was top notch, the lobby, front desk, and so on were all flawless. I have stayed at the Ritz, the Four Seasons, and the Langham and I really found the Boston Harbor Hotel to be at the top of that list.

The location is perfect right by the waterfront, and the views of the harbor are stunning, especially at sunset. My room was spacious and comfy, and I loved the cozy atmosphere. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and the fresh pastries were a highlight—definitely a must-try! The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Plus, being close to the city’s attractions made exploring Boston so easy.

Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience at this hotel. I can only assume we were given the worst room because we booked through Expedia instead of directly through the hotel, although we paid $3300 for 5 nights. Asked for a room change immediately and we're denied due to the hotel being full. Paid for a harbor view but were given a very obstructed view. After sleeping 3 nights in the dilapidated bed, the manager finally moved us but not without much pain and stress! Would not return. ***Update-Called and spoke with Steve Johnson, Operational Manager.
