Best place to stay in Boston

So happy to visit again to Hotel Commonwealth. I've been a Boston Red Sox fan my whole life, I really enjoy all the Sox memorabilia, they even have a "Red Sox Suite" that overlooks Fenway Park! The new updated lobby is great. Most of all the staff, from the valet, desk team and housekeeping team are amazing! See you next visit!

Amazing Boston Weekend

Went with family to Boston for weekend. Beautiful hotel and great location. The staff was amazing from valet parking to front desk. The sleeping room was clean and spacious. I highly recommend whether you are traveling on business or going to Boston for the weekend. .

Excellent stay in Boston

Visited Hotel Commonwealth for the first time for an event at the MGM Music Hall. The front desk staff - especially Nick - were incredibly helpful and answered all the questions we had about the room. The room itself was beautiful and I had received a free upgrade I wasn’t expecting. We ordered room service for breakfast several times and the food was delicious and presentation was excellent - though I will say, the “salmon platter” only had a small piece of salmon and we were hoping to see more. Valet service was similarly helpful throughout our trip, and normally had our car on the curb within 15 minutes. I had a small issue with a charge on my credit card, and Jeff from the front desk was able to resolve it within seconds. Much appreciation to the entire staff for a wonderful stay.

Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The biggest issue was the hidden resort fee—I was never informed about it at check-in, yet it mysteriously appeared on my credit card afterward. The room itself was very basic, lacking even the most common amenities—no coffee machine, no snacks, not even bottled water. For a place that charges a resort fee, the absence of these essentials makes no sense. When I called to ask about the charge after I saw that on my credit card, the staff was not only unhelpful but downright rude. The lack of transparency and poor customer service make this place feel like a scam. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!
