A well-crafted life, a century in the making. Explore a beautifully restored and reimagined luxury hotel at the intersection of Newbury and Arlington Streets, where the bustle of the Back Bay is your playground and the idyllic Boston Public Garden your front yard. We’ve been a beloved landmark, a distinctive symbol of Boston’s rich history, a place of gathering, and now—a striking homage to the neighborhood we call home.

Great hotel in a great location. We really liked the Newbury - one of the nicer hotels we have visited anywhere in the US. The room was spacious and well appointed. Bathroom large and nice. We had a park view so a bit of street noice at night, but nothing terrible. Morning coffee and croissants in the Library was a nice touch. The location is the best in Boston - walkable to Back Bay, the Public Garden and Common, Charles Street, downtown/North End. We even walked to the MFA - about 30 minutes. Also right at the T for trips to Harvard Square and the JFK Museum. We will return when next in town.

The Newbury hotel used to be a Ritz Carlton and still feels that way. The location is great. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The hotel has a few restaurants and bars. They were crowded and fun. The staff is great also especially the manager Sigrit. She went out of her way to help us prepare for a bday celebration. There is a private room for hotel guests that connects to lobby bar. It is like a “club lounge” however the offerings are slim to sad.

I loved our stay at The Newbury Hotel Boston. Our rooms had a lovely park view; we had a Nespresso coffee facility in the room. Loved the library that is always open 27/7 and the snacks at different times of the day with fresh pastries/chocolate/cheese. My only complaint is that as a European I was up at 5am and the coffee facility was not ready in the library until 6,30am and I could not use the room machine not to disturb my sleeping husband. The hotel should have a Nespresso machine in the library available at all times to cover for gaps before 6,30am. The library’s coffee is classic hotel weak coffee! The other suggestion is to increase the seating available in the lobby area.

A total “welcome home type hotel “. The moment you walking in everyone welcomes you. then you get to the warmth of your room. a lovely hotel with high standards and team from bell men to maids, very supportive and kind. Truly a wonderful pleasure. The location is also spot on. I look forward to coming back.

Shortest review ever...It's the only place in Boston where we will stay! It's that good! The staff is warm and friendly while being ultimately professional. The rooms are exquisite...delightful mattresses, well appointed, spacious bathrooms, great city views. The Street Bar is a great cozy city bar with wonderful food. Remember Whiskey Park? It's like that!
