A few years ago we were down in Branson over Christmas and it was promoted to see the gingerbread houses at chateau on the lake. We went and they were enjoyable to see. We went this year and decided to go by the chateau again to see the gingerbread houses. The chateau now charges you for parking just to stop there. We were there 15 minutes and it cost $15. Thats the Christmas spirit. You’re on the naughty list

I couldn’t figure out the thermostat and it was hot all night. The faucets barely worked, took 20 minutes just to brush my teeth, because the water pressure was so low. When I tried to regulate the water temp, it was either freezing or scalding. No way to regulate it or make it better.

Absolutely gorgeous resort! Chase was the hotel manager and when our door malfunctioned he had everything fixed within minutes! Amazing customer service all over the resort. Fantastic views everywhere! They even had the original nativity set from home alone 2! We will definitely be back in December. Thank you guys for the great experience!

We put together a little weekend getaway to Branson. Our trip included lots of eating and a day in Silver Dollar City during the Harvest Festival. We went to see the SIX show on Friday evening which is a must see if you’re in town. Now onto the stay at the Chateau. We arrived about 2:00 on Friday afternoon and our rooms were ready. Such a clean and pleasant experience for an almost 30 year old hotel. The absolute only downside was one of our rooms was right across from the three elevators and you could hear every word, all day and all night. Tip: if they give you a room ending in 39 or 40 ask for something different. We had 539.
