We stayed at the Hilton Brussels Grand Place for one night and had a generally enjoyable experience. The hotel is located in a great location, and the public areas are lovely. The room was a good size, although it could use some minor attention. The bathroom was great. The staff were all excellent and wanted to make sure that my stay was a pleasant one. However, there were a few minor issues. At check-in, there was a problem with my room key cards, and I was not able to access the executive lounge, even though I had booked an executive room. The receptionist worked hard to resolve the issue quickly. I was also told by the lady at the restaurant that I would be charged for breakfast, even though I am a Hilton Gold member and had selected breakfast as my option. After speaking to the front desk, she confirmed I shouldn't be charged for breakfast. Overall, I would recommend the Hilton Brussels Grand Place to others, and I will stay there again myself.

From the get go, I had a feeling this stay was going to be troublesome. My husband and I arrived after a 24 hour journey, exhausted to say the least. No one assisted with our luggage before or after we checked in, so we had to take the elevator with 4 pieces of luggage and fight our way into the room because the door has a very tight spring. How one person gets this right I don't know. Then figure out the lights. Then the one side of the bed had no side table, so must I put my stuff on the floor? Back to reception, don't bother to use the phone, you are asked to leave a voice message. Admittedly the staff were very apologetic, and since we had booked our stay for seven nights, we were upgraded to an executive room and given access to the executive lounge. Thank you for that gesture. During the rest of our stay in the executive room, the water wouldn't drain from the basin, and then one evening we were locked out because the battery in the door packed up, and we had to wait for someone to fix it. All in all, I expected more from a hotel with the Hilton brand. Won't be recommending this hotel anytime soon!

The ONLY reason to stay here is if you want to take the train. Directly across from the station. Rooms are old and tired and grossed out by the carpet. This Hilton is not up to any standard! It is quite revolting! Closets are disgusting and I have stayed in better motels than this. The area around hotel very sketchy with many vagrants sleeping in the street.

Hilton Brussels Grand Place has a great location, convenient to great Brussels hot spots and the Central train station. Unfortunately, this Hilton does not live up to Hilton standards that we’ve experienced in other locations in this brand. For instance, there were no wash cloths in the bathroom, not only did the hair dryer not work that even when the maid provided one that did, the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. The AC was not working and this room should not have been provided with this significant flaw. The hotel employees were friendly and accommodating. In my opinion, As a Hilton Gold level client, I’m not accustomed to paying for water in the room and 4 euros per small bottle was excessive and led us to buy a 1.5 liter bottle at the Carrefour outside the hotel front door for 1.29 euros. Hilton needs to do an in-depth audit of this hotel and make sure it’s operating up to Hilton standards regardless of local suggestions.

Perfect location to explore Belgium! Train station is directly across the plaza. Hotel room was small but very comfortable. Not a lot of recognition for diamond level. A basic breakfast in the executive lounge and a minimal offering in the evening. No matter, excellent food everywhere as soon as you step out of the hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
