Reviews for Mystery Hotel Budapest

Mystery solved!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

No mystery here - everything about the hotel was obvious! From the moment we arrived we could tell that our 5 night stay was going to be a positive experience and the rest of our stay didn’t disappoint. We loved everything about duplex room number 1 and the added bonus of being nearest to the spa which we enjoyed. We had breakfast the first two mornings which was fine but a little expensive so after that we left the hotel for breakfast. We thought we would try the restaurant for lunch on one day but once we were given the menu we decided we didn’t want to eat such a large meal. Maybe the hotel could offer some lighter options as part of the lunchtime menu? Thank you Mystery Hotel for making our visit to the beautiful city of Budapest a memorable one.

Great hotel for a Budapest city break

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We loved the slightly quirky but beautifully decorated Mystery Hotel which was situated in a quieter area of the city but very easy to walk, taxi or use the metro to go sightseeing in the city centre. The bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds & pillows, the breakfast buffet was amazing and the one evening meal we had was very good with excellent service. The friendly staff were very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back one day! We enjoyed the hotel spa too!

Wonderful service, lovely boutique hotel, beautiful room, staff could not have been nicer!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We enjoyed our stay at the Mystery hotel for many reasons- service was first. The staff at the front desk was always generous with their time and suggestions of places to go, public transportation, etc. The hotel is centrally located. The room was lovely and the roof garden bar was perfect for small bites and fabulous cocktails. The waiters were also very friendly and made great suggestions as well about places to go. We look forward to our next stay when we return to Budapest.

Good hotel in a lovely building

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We only stayed a few hours before our flight. Hotel is very central. Staff were friendly. The building is quite impressive although the fake paintings and patterns are overdone in places. Room was spacious but only one small window overlooking the spa. Amenities in the room were nice and good quality. Quirky design. Bed was comfy. We didn't get to eat or try the spa.

A must stay in Budapest

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

What an amazing hotel, We are still currently staying here and can not fault it. From the service, rooms, and moving artwork. Nothing is too much to ask. This hotel is a must when staying in budapest. Unfortunately, the skybar is closed due to the end of the season, but we were allowed to go up and take amazing photos.
